I added the R3 hinge film to one of my hinges. Took a bit of work and patience but got one done. Lol. Only 7 more to go. I think I’ll do a little at a time and going to wait til next week when it gets a little warmer. It’s snowing outside so the garage is pretty cold.

I installed a new set of Kanati Trail Hogs AT-4 in 315/70/17 replacing Falken Wildpeak M/T in 285/70/17. Picked them up from PriorityTire.com for $1,200 for a set of 5 including demounting the Falken's and mounting/balancing the Kanati's.

They are (more or less) Goodyear Duratrac tread design and are 3 peak rated for snow. They also weigh exactly 4 pounds more than the Falkens--84.4 versus 88.4 (mounted weight for both). Considering I went up a size as well as changed from load range C to load range E, the weight difference is minimal and should not be noticeable. I need to use my Tazer Mini and tweak the tire size and pressures and I will probably kill ESS while I am in there.

Very happy with the look and ride so far!

Called the dealership for her....

Noticed on day two of ownership the plugs were missing from both front all-weather mats. Didn't notice on delivery.

They're under the carpet. Look under the mat and you'll see where the carpet is partially cut away, the factory plug is under that. You remove that cut section of carpet, remove the plug from the floor, snap the floormat in where the plug was, and then place the factory plug in the mat.

Installed the "Mopal" tailgate reinforcement and the Smittybilt oversized spare tire adapter. The reinforcement is made of lightweight aluminum; the adapter of hreavy steel. The adapter weighs at least twice as much as the reinforcement.

The adapter has two positions: for 35 and 37-inch tires. This is set for 35-inch tires. The bump stops slide to adjust depending on wheel offset. I now have 3 CB antenna mounts: 1 on the reinforcement and 2 on the adapter

Link to the reinforcement please?

Mounted the Go Rhino RB20 steps. Pretty easy to install. I’m pleased that (1) they will prevent some of the kick up of rocks etc.. (2) they are nice and functional and (3) they cover a lot of the pinch seam.

Thanks for the info. I was going to add the reinforcement but doesn’t sound like much of one. Did you install by yourself or did you have someone help by holding the door?

I installed it by myself. It is pretty straightforward.

The reinforcement is more of a brace: it adds support between the two hinges and the spare carrier.
