Merry Christmas fellas. Hope everyone gets some Jeep goodies under the tree or at least stacked in garage with a bow. 🎁
I'm hoping for that red toy in post #32,908.

Installed a Motobilt Hammer stubby with the help of my 13-yr old daughter...

I also (finally!!!!) removed the hood decal that came on the Recon. I didn't like the list of equipment on it. I also took the caps off the bumper. I'm loving this Jeep :involve:!

That is a sharp looking Jeep. I like what you did with the rims. I like the orange best of the bright colors. Next would be the Firecracker Red. Of course Sarge Green like mine is best.;)

I sat there in the driver's seat - looking at, and wondering why I cannot bring myself to remove the factory installed plastic protective wrapping in the cab

It's only been 3 months...

I dig your vibe, truly. The same protective film is still on the speedometer of my almost-3-year-old Ural.

That said, it's not a hot mess like what's on your Uconnect 8.4. :giggle:

I never understood the protective film phobia. I know guys that are distraught when it starts to peel on a new phone. Me? That crap gets peeled off before anything is even powered up.
I couldn't agree more.

I am fanatical about keeping my stuff in great condition, BUT in my humble opinion the plastic film needs to come off.

Unless your possessions own you, you likely are just protecting it for the next owner who will promptly remove it.

This all reminds me of a grandparent that covers their couch with plastic because someday the pope may show up and need a place to sit! Lol.

Seriously, it's your Jeep and your stuff so you should do whatever makes you happy.

Jeep on and Merry Christmas~

I’m calling this Phase 1of “MEGA PLATFORM FOR STORAGE AND SLEEPING AND WHAT-NOT”, or MPFSWN for short. I got the design from Cheaper Jeeper (who got banned from the forum, haha). Anyway, I put it together using cheap 1/2” plywood and messed around with it until I got it almost like I want it. Next I’m going to make it out of 3/4” plywood and carpet it. I’ll paint the legs and shit black. My oldest spawn, @BMoorman2 helped me out.

I like how you can just use the cargo area, the 40, the 60 or the hunnid.

Was washing the jeep today and saw this. Upsetting considering I haven’t even hit 2 months on it yet.

Will be ordering some touch up I guess to hide it some. It’s also ceramic coated but must of been a nice size rock hit.

On a positive note, my Tazer JL showed up in the mail today. It’s now under the tree until tomorrow. Can’t wait!

You've never had the chance to put a toddler in bed only to find out 10 minutes later they've escaped?
Loll yup i have. Least favorite part of being a dad was the explosive poop. And mine use to drink an entire bottle or 2 and then puke it all up on me.
