I picked up my Jeep after getting the steering TSB done. I tested it by driving up the hill to get my wine. The new steering gear is great!

Installed the Warn Evo VR 10s Winch and mounted my Rotopax on my spare tire.

Modified the spare tire bumpers to make them fit my new rim(s)/tire(s).

I ordered extended bumpers but they still were not long enough to make contact with the spare. I purchased 1" rubber feet which fit inside of the extended bumpers. I was able to press them in while bleeding a little air out of the void (they are an airtight fit) so that once they were in they had enough vacuum to keep them from coming out and had enough air pressure to make them work like an air shock. They work perfectly as the tire now sits up against the rubber bump stops and is firmly held in place.

It's difficult to tell from photos but it works great.

If you look closely at the photos you can see the original gap even with the extended bumpers.

Nothing major, but ever since I put on the new bumper, I either had to hang the electrical trailer connections below the bumper making it a rock magnet, or not have access to the connectors.

... but with a cutoff wheel and a little grinding, presto access is granted.

I'm so tempted to do this. The aggressive tires on the Sport wheels look good, also. Posts like yours sometimes cost me money.

The DV8 bumper "delete" was what I was going to go with until I came across the Motobilt crusher. I felt it was worth it for some extra corner protection. The DV8 looks great though.

I just bought and installed the Bestop Supertop Ultra this past weekend. I got a $300 gift card from Quadratec too so now I need to think of something else to buy.
