Installed my CB today, Cobra 75 with a 4’ firestick antenna with the terraflex mount. I had to get creative with the antenna mount since I have the Rugged Ridge spare tire support. A quick trip to Ace hardware served me well.

Just completed install of teraflex CB mount on Rugged Ridge HD tire carrier. Your pictures and info on where you bought hardware to complete mod made my life easy! Thanks for the info

All kinda stuff going on.

My Jeep has been at the dealer for 2 weeks. I picked it up today. It would have been 1 day but the parts I ordered were shipped in 3 orders and one was sent usps which caused all kinda issues and still is.

I had my flare replaced from the yellowing along with my grill.

I had new arms put on the rear window cause they were broke from the factory.

While it was down there I decided to put on fox 2.0’s all around. I’m still waiting on the stabilizer arm cause that was the one sent via post office. Complete shit show.

I also added new hood latches which I have been waiting on for 3 months.

When I got home I wanted to wash and noticed my paint was a mess from sitting outside for 2 weeks. So I decided to do my winter sealant and paint correction which I’m now in the middle of completing into tomorrow.

Here is what I’m using for my sealant and paint correction process. I know I can ceramic coat but I have been doing this process for over 10 years with great success and I only need to do it twice a year. I do a refresh spray on weekly which is the same product from wolfgang. I only do the fuzion wax layer in winter to give me an extra layer for the salt to eat through before it attacks my sealant. Over the years I have just changed up the sealant as the tech improves.

What's your detailing process? I'm not confident in my abilities to do ceramic properly. Is this a relatively easy, fool-proof process?

Replaced the sliver on my Sahara grille with black. Added black Mopar license plate frame. Coupled with the black bezels on fog lights I did a few days back and I'm liking the front of my car right now.

Replaced the Tyger hitch cover with Mopar Jeep cover, because details.

Full proof. I’m afraid to do a ceramic coating cause of you mess it up you have to machine it off and I hate machining.

Once I get home I’ll write it out for you. I’m on the road.

Finally installed my rear bumper reflector LED lamps. Running them as taillamps. Brighter than pic indicates. PITA to do though. May start on my mirror LEDs next.

I lifted my JLUR yesterday and today. I used a mix of components and everything worked out great. A bunch of upfront research and it rides fantastic! I gained about 2-3/8 inches in front and exactly 2 inches in the rear. Once I get a steel front bumper and winch installed it will be right around 2 inch.

Rusty’s Off-road 2 inch springs (with front correction pads)
Falcon SP2 Fast Adjust 3.3 piggyback shocks
Rock Krawler adjustable track bars (front and rear)
Rock Krawler x-factor adjustable front lower control arms
Teraflex bump stop strike pad extension kit
Teraflex progressive bump stops
Mopar 2 inch lift sway bar links

Wanting a cleaner look for the dash camera's power, I routed the USB power cable behind the dashboard. A step drill and a 3/8" grommet made for a clean and easy modification.

A length of motorcycle-grade wire sheathing was used to protect the USB cable.

The outboard RAM balls (the right one is out of frame) are occasionally used for my phone, and/or my Delorme inReach satellite tracker/communicator.

The dash camera has recorded enough Stupid through the years that I consider them well-nigh compulsory.

I expected everything to work after it was all buttoned up -- and it did -- but I still breathed a small sigh of relief. :)

This fellow's video make a doddle of component removal & reinstallation. As it concerns work habits, he gets all of the little details right. This is a rare quality on YouTube.

Did you check the compressed shock to make sure the roost guard (black cover) would not hit the piggyback? It looks like it's on backwards.
Good eye! Yes, I swapped it around before I test drove it. The pic was taken before I turned it around. It will definitely not work as pictured! I will take another pic tomorrow and swap pics.
