Since the fog lights are closer to center, Did you have any issue having the plug from the fog lights reach the main plug?

No, I just had to swap the connection to the rest of the harness from the outside of the frame rail to the inside. Not that big a deal. However I forgot to do it before I put the bumper on and I couldn't fit it under the grill. So I had to remove the grill just to move it from one side to the other. Not that big a deal but would have been better had I remembered to do it before installing the bumper.

Thanks. I was actually looking at the beamtechs last night and I have seen good things on here, but Amazon says they don't fit my jl.

I've had Amazon say many times "Not compatible" for something that was 100% compatible. Their tool is not most accurate. I'd verify with the seller. They may need to update the compatibility data as well.

Been reinstalling all the stuff from my last jeep. Put on my JTops mesh net. Love the red net in my yellow jeep. Fits well with the red everywhere so I lucked out there.

Installed the Teraflex antenna mount on the tailgate. Had a bit of an issue getting the bolts out but eventually got it.

Just finished installing the CB mount and wiring for that. Tomorrow I’ll install the antenna and run the antenna cable to the CB.

This weekend I’ll be installing the hitch for towing and installing the wiring for the trailer.

On Saturday, I changed the bushings in the full set of @Metalcloak control arms I bought here on the market place. MC sent double upper rear bushings and left the front lower bushings out. They corrected the error with a phone call--great guys. Thanks MC.

This was the last item needed to complete a MC 2.5" Game Changer lift. Just waiting on the backordered parts to perform the steering box TSB at the dealer and it's off to @rustyshakelford for him to perform his magic.

I attached a leather fob, and installed a neoprene console cover. Both were Jeep Warming gifts from Mrs. Heimkehr.

After that expenditure of labor, I took a nap.

New Smittybilt Stryker front bumper. Love the look. I’ll be adding lights to it and a winch in near future.

Added some 7” led lights in the bumper ends and wired them to my RC MLC6 controller. Used disconnect plugs in case I want to take ends off for stubby. Great lights for the money

Installed ceramic coating on full wrap ppf! Stuff feels nice and easy to apply.

Was it difficult to apply? I know nothing about ceramic coatings? I guess I will have to search for a thread.

Like the single 7" light. Well done, and hopefully helps others find a set up they like in those caps too. Surprised S/B doesn't have something that fits perfectly in there specifically for that bumper. Seems some standard lighting with some plastic housings for those caps would sell every time they sold one of those bumpers. Thanks for sharing.., looks great.

from what i read its all about the cure times. I figure its no worse than doing a normal hand wax. Just ordered myself the Chemical Guys ceramic wax to try it out. gonna pick up the polish in hopes to get ride of some of the desert pin strips i have

Just installed my CB in the new jeep. I ran the cable through the fabric between the tailgate for a seamless transition.

Little bit of work but worth it.
