What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I had a rigid tonneau cover installed, and love it. JFTops used my Jeep for measurements to make a 2 door version of their cover. It's made of 3/4" hardwood with Rhino lining, and includes a vertical piece that makes the back of the Jeep secure when I lock the tailgate.

Man, I love the look of this but I need better security than just plywood. I wish this would work for our application!

Yep, crud encrusted. They say biodegradable cleaner or degreaser should work. I'd think a steam clean would work too, but would have to be careful of her underbits. Not something I can tackle in my buddy's driveway. lol

Better his driveway than yours - just sayin'... LOL

After watching crash videos on YouTube, became slightly paranoid and purchased a dash camera.

Installed a 20” Baja Designs OnX6+ light bar on my Poison Spyder front bumper.

Mocked it up (pretty tight fit) and drilled some holes.

Installed the included brackets (nuts were a PITA to get to with the winch and fogs installed).

I had preinstalled all the wiring, so I just had to build the male half of the 3-wire connector.

Looks pretty darn good if you ask me.

And is low profile, keeping airflow to the radiator unrestricted.

Took it out on the backroads last night, this thing is stupid bright...

I bought an inexpensive Apeman on Amazon - about $50 - to determine if I would make use of a dashcam. It works well.

I took the hard top off mine and hung it in the garage for the first time today after picking it up last week. I'm going to add an additional set of straps to pull it up higher and not have it free swinging next. Will also be extra insurance to avoid the 911 getting a new hat following an earthquake or something.

I'm planning the exact same thing - hanging the Jeep roof over my 911. It does make me want to make sure that the mount is solid!

Finished up some of those last minute summer projects.

Painted and installed a mounting bracket for my Warn PIK (Power Interrupt Kit) and electronics controller. Link here to more details and pictures.

Installed Red Line Tuning hood lift.

Installed BlackVue DR900S-2CH dash cam with front & rear cameras.

Installed Rugged Ridge trailer hitch along with 2” receiver and pintle hook (this is to discourage people from getting too friendly with my spare tire and tailgate when parallel parking).

Installed HAM/GMRS/public safety radio (CB is next up).

Installed Maximus-3 Stealth Front License Plate Mount and Poison Spyder fairlead lightbar mount w/Ridge 10” Lightbar.

Removed and installed new “Trail Rated” badge (dark gray & black) to more match MOAB colors.

Replaced Warn factory winch hook with Warn’s black/gray 12k lbs rated hook.

Installed black tube piping between fenders and body to keep little rocks and things out.
