Permanent unless you wanna re-powdercoat them again. Yes new black lugs and kept center cap black cause it’s plastic and can’t be powdercoated. Here’s a better pic in the sun

I think it would be too much Orange. Go black.

Flat olive drab would be a really good looking accent color for Pumpkin.
It would have a hunting sportsman look to it.

I’d rock orange on orange but I like obnoxious. If that’s too much maybe orange accents kinda like this

I could try vinyl wrap first to see if I like the orange accent. If not then black out will be the next option.

Didn’t think the originals sounded great and with the top off the volume wasn’t Sufficient. The new speakers also make phone calls sound much more realistic and xrusp
Why and where did you find the info on which speakers to use? Why’d you mix the Quadratec and the Crutchfield instead of two sets of Quadratecs?

I live in SoCal and wheel hot dry dusty deserts and mountains. I like the A/C on and windows up when wheeling hot and or dusty conditions. This seems to put a heavy tax on the cooling system when crawling because my fan runs on high a lot. Having a winch in front of the grill doesn't help. Also the winch and ARB twin onboard air both have big battery draws and require the motor to be idling when in use. These often kick up the fan speed. Also, on the trail when motor is shut down for short periods. The engine temperature rises to the point where when motor is started back up the fan runs on high for awhile. The cooling system does work but when the fan is on high as needed it's rather annoying.
Thinking I can't add more air flow in but I can allow more air out. I simply raised the back of the hood as an experiment. Much easier and reversible vs cutting in hood vents which seems to be the norm.

Did a test fit of my new inclinometer - I’ll trim the base and mount it over the weekend. I know that if my JLU was more than a lowly Sport I could get incline readings off the dash. Seeing this cheap gadget bobbling on my dash brings me joy that those with higher trim levels can’t fathom. Plus, it’s a good match for Mohito!

From where and how?!? :surprised:
Please give details.
Amazon heater pads. I used the rear window switch wiring to get my power and ground. Large gauge Pink wire for positive and large gauge black wire for negative. Ran the harness under the console and under the carpet to the back seat area. Took the seats out, took them to a professional upholstery shop ( did a search on katskinz page for their recommended installers) $200 For heater pad install into the leather. Not something I wanted to mess with. They did them the same day and I just installed the seats back and plugged in the harness!
