What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I worry about how to keep the spray off the doors/body.

No just Use painters tape around locks then cut hole out of trash bag or whatever u have hole doesn’t have to be perfect cause u already taped around emblem this will keep over spray off ur Jeep do inside garage. Then lightly sand with fine sand paper then clean with mineral spirit make sure to get inside cracks and crevices real good. Use a piece of cardboard to practice spraying once comfortable with spray apply 3 light coats remove tape and trash bag carefully before paint dries.

have you spent the time and money having to change out window switches? those little Boogers are expensive and a PIA to put in. Also im not snobby nor are my arms broke therefore i do not need Power windows or that Luxury. I hope jeeps keep the base model without power everything. My 44 year old Pick up truck windows have never failed once in its life time.

Yeah changed them on my 67 Lincoln continental the original motors lasted lasted almost 30 years. So yea u might have to fix them but I guarantee u won’t have the Jeep when it happens.

I'm going through this process now. Getting the Jeep letters off was pretty tough. They were really stuck on there. I found some small black caps on ebay called Santi's caps for the door locks. I just put them on yesterday. We will see how they hold up. I've ordered wheel paint for the trail rated badge.

Plus I’m not spending almost 30k on a new Jeep and it not have power windows and locks that’s just plain stupid. U might as well buy one without a motor transmission and just Fred flinstone the thing cause those are even more expensive than power windows and locks

Let the letters sit in the sun for a lil bit loosen up the glue then use dental floss to slide behind. You will have to buff it out afterwards cause u will see outline of old letters
