Installed the XG Cargo Divider and mounted my MOLLE bags! Love the way it turned out and it freed up a lot of space.

What did I do to my JL today? I fixed the mishap I caused yesterday. Sanded down the damaged torn powder coat, repainted with black texture Rust-Oleum. Can't even tell it happened.

Minor repair results in major satisfaction!

Two years ago I removed much of the factory badging from my Jeep.
The only thing I left was the SAHARA lettering, just because.

Well, today I decided to give her a bath and detailing, and I noticed the SAHARA letters were allowing dirt and stains between the letters, so out came the tools.

I used a heat gun and some 30# monofilament fishing line to warm up the letters and pop them off.
Next, was a LOT of patience, some Goo Gone, and a single edge razor blade to carefully remove the foam and the glue.
After that some polishing compound was used to remove the 'ghosting' the letters left behind.

Finally, I used a new (to me) ceramic coating to refresh the coating I had used previously.
I had been using Hydrosilex Recharge, but this time I used a product called NexGen.
What I like about NexGen is that all the plastic parts and now black again. Time will tell if it holds up.

I even detailed the motor while I was at it.
She is ready for the beach!

Very nice and clean. Ironically I would think a good ceramic coating would keep the letters easy to clean, and I personally would want SAHARA if going to the beach. It does look good either way!

Finished the rounds of mod finally for our trip next week. Finished off by hard wiring the eBay knockoff cargo light. Came out good and a lot cleaner than the cigarette lighter plug. Now to load it up over the weekend.

Installed the Teraflex rear trackbar bracket.

Pretty much wraps up my suspension until some day I go full Monster and do long arms and coilovers

Overall I am really happy with my ride. I went from a drifty dead center Jeep to a fairly planted straight shooter. I'm at 6 degrees caster and if I were to do anything else it would probably be adjustable uppers for the front to dial in the caster a little higher.

How do you like that stubby antenna? I've been looking, but haven't found one yet that has as good reception as the factory.
