Happy Monday the 13th!
Today marks the day that my first windshield bit the dust.

A special shout out to the company who tried to "fix it".

An even bigger shout out to this forum for introducing me to Racing Optics. Thank you to @MalteeseJLU - ordering protection film NOW! New windshield scheduled to be installed Thursday.✌
Ahh damn that sucks!
Good news is I've had a few good highway trips and heard a few rocks hit the windshield with no affect, so far so good!

I’m still waiting for an extension hose on my order to finish the install of mine.

Compared it to this. I'm not looking to trade any time soon. But the Mohave springs and shocks are on my radar for my own Jeep.

I agree with you. Mojave springs would be perfect on a JLUR with 35's. Small budget boost in rear to match. Anyone know the mojave front spring PNs?

Two years ago I removed much of the factory badging from my Jeep.
The only thing I left was the SAHARA lettering, just because.

Well, today I decided to give her a bath and detailing, and I noticed the SAHARA letters were allowing dirt and stains between the letters, so out came the tools.

I used a heat gun and some 30# monofilament fishing line to warm up the letters and pop them off.
Next, was a LOT of patience, some Goo Gone, and a single edge razor blade to carefully remove the foam and the glue.
After that some polishing compound was used to remove the 'ghosting' the letters left behind.

Finally, I used a new (to me) ceramic coating to refresh the coating I had used previously.
I had been using Hydrosilex Recharge, but this time I used a product called NexGen.
What I like about NexGen is that all the plastic parts and now black again. Time will tell if it holds up.

I even detailed the motor while I was at it.
She is ready for the beach!

@Thinman , I will be doing a full 2.5" Gamechanger w/RockSports install at Cloakworks in the very near future (just awaiting shipment on a few more parts). Would you recommend just going ahead with the Front Coil Correction Springs from the get-go? At $39, seems like cheap insurance, just in case.

Yes, absolutely. I think they will either start including them in the kit eventually, or recommend them added on by default.

I would do the Tie Rod and Draglink as well. If not for so many other kits out there that they need to price comparatively to, I think they would just add them to the kit and bump up the price.

Good advice. For only $39, sure why not? But at about $800 for the tie rod and drag link!? Nope. I think I'll pass unless they become a problem for me in the future. Honestly, I've been one of the super lucky ones with absolutely zero steering or suspension issues right out of the factory. I don't want to mess with those expensive add-ons for what seems pretty non-essential for most situations. Thanks!

Me too. I did the 2.5 GC 300 miles out of the dealer......and then scheduled the tie rod & drag link within 2 days after...
