ALSO, lighted cup holders in console distract me when driving long distant, night driving on the interstates which I do a lot. These foam inserts are pretty thick so they block some of the light coming out of the cupholder LEDS. So, I can still see where I'm aiming / planting my coffee container but not blinded by the light.
I hadn't even thought of that! To be fair, think I haven't driven in the dark but one or two times in the month I've had her. I did notice that some of the int. lighting is pretty damn bright though. I'll keep these in mind!

Maybe I'm just missing it, but what benefit do you guys see with these?
Few things. They keep total crud from filling up the crevices - akin to the other rubber inserts in other places throughout the jeep. Also, they absorb moisture from a sweating cup/mug that would otherwise leave “slime” in the cup holders.

Nice! I have the full set of Rancho glide plates too.

You may need to check those nuts though. They don’t appear to have enough threads coming through. On one side it looks like it’s not even flush with the nut. Did you tighten to the specified torque spec?

You can see how much mine protrude:

Torque Setting on the instructions say 15 lbs. That’s not a lot. I guess I was being safe but maybe I need to go check it again then. Thanks for the heads up. I was just afraid to go too tight.

Yeah you don’t want to go too far for sure, so I suggest using a torque wrench. I just worked a little on each one, back and forth, until I hit the right torque.

Installed the Teraflex Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tire Mounting Kit. Took about 2 hrs to install by myself. I was using the Rough Country bracket and it worked great but it wasn't adjustable. This new one allows my to get my spare tire very close to the tailgate. It is very solid and very well made. For the height I used the middle of the 3 choices and it worked perfectly for my 35 x12.5 KO2s.

how is this product.... will the tailgate still sag ..... do they sell extra support for it? I have 35s .... tera flex claims it holds 100 lbs. would I have to use this and another product to support the rear tailgate door or is this product sufficient.... dealer put the mopar crap on mine just to get the wheel on and that shit shakes like you can’t believe. I don’t want door sag either. I was just goin to delete it but then found this

looks great man! placing my order later this week. are you concerned about people talking about rust issues? Anthony seems convinced the MK3 will hold up to Indiana weather. Did you match up the red insert? looks nice!!
My Roam Steps after a year have just started to show some rust.

I created the Turtle and the Windshield sticker with my Cricut machine. Now I will be unstoppable. Need to replace the orange sun on the side because it clashes now.

Didn’t get it all done today but just finished doing a few little adjustments...and I did take it on a small photo shoot today b/c it was too perfect to pass up. Still waiting for my bumpers and winch. And trying to decide if I went to go black on my badges and Jeep logo.

I've never done Forest Lake trail up there. I've done Mary Ellen Gulch a couple of times. I'll have to try it. Was it very crowded?

What model ram mount is that?
The mount is from Carolina Metal Masters. It replaces one of the bolts of the above glove box grab bar bolts with a 1” RAM attachment ball. I already had the 1” RAM phone mount laying around.

We were thinking about mounting on the tailgate as well. With the added weight from your jack, tire, gas can - do you have any concern for the tailgate/hinges?
It's difficult to see in the pictures with everything put on, but the Jerry can & Hi-Lift jack are mounted to the swing arm of the tire-carrier assembly, as seen in this picture. ... all because I was worries about weight on the hinges.
