Went with the Willy's look. Purchased Sport S replacement grille, painted matte black and clear coated. Re-painted KC fog lights white with black letters and installed everything today.

The sway bar drop link nut backed off while off-roading Monday on Drummond Island in Michigan. The swaybar disconnect wouldn't reconnect. Upon inspection, I discovered it. So I bought a new drop link (the sway bar had flattened out the threads) and installed it, along with a new nut, secured with blue Loc-Tite. It took about 10 minutes, mainly because I am slow.

It is ready for the next adventure! I think that will be the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway at the end of the month!

Maybe you could press/drill/cut a bunch of holes in that skid to help vent heat?
That way you’d keep the stronger Evo plate..
I've done a bunch of extended (road/offroad) drives without any heat issues. Thus far everything has read normal using offroad pages and my odb2 reader for a more detailed view.

I'm currently deciding of I want to try making the exhaust loop skid work with the LOD sliders using the common mounting hole on the frame.

If I do that, then I'll likely look at some venting options for the exhaust skid as I don't see how it wouldn't trap heat.

Looks good! I wish the new pintlers came in that color!
Thanks!
Bummer, I didn't realize the JL Pintlers don't come in Argent. Now I have to figure out how to get my backup camera to work with my JK Pintler....
Anyone have any thoughts? The base part of the camera housing on tire carrier is too wide for the smaller center bore on the JK Pintler.

Looks nice! I'm guessing the lower fill hole is equal to the level of the one on the stock cover?

Went exploring and flexed it a bit . Stuffed the rear for sure but the bump stops worked right where they needed to be. Down side of a small lift and 35s but works perfect for me! This was sways connected I assume the front would flex more if not

Installed Magnum steel rear bumper. Put the 5.0 outside last night so the Jeep could stay naked for another day.

Installed my EAG doors and Go Rhino D1 steps. Loving the doors and they don't make any noise. Love the steps too as we needed some that were low for my wife to get in. What a PIA installing though! None of the threads in the brackets that go inside the steps would accept the bolts as is and had to be cleaned out and massaged and even then they were reluctant to go in. In addition I was installing them by myself and it's really a two person job to get the loose brackets inside the steps lined up to the brackets mounted to the frame. Terrible mounting design IMO, but I think they look great.
