I installed the Iron Cross Brake Light Relocation Bracket. They must have redesigned it to better incorporate the backup camera because the item I was shipped was different from the item pictured when I ordered it.

I called it names up on Holy Cross and then let it coast back down the hill with 8.2 volts left. Lmao. I turned around right before French creek and hustled back before the little asshole left me stranded. The wife was a bit unnerved coming back down the first obstacle without power steering, or power brakes. haha
On a side note, this trail is really getting rutted out....
Unfortunately no other pics because we were kinda in a hurry. We didn’t want to pay all those expensive tow bills the signs kept talking about. :CWL:

Damm! Was it related to the ESS? Mine pulled that crap just a couple days after taking delivery, limped to the closest dealer and left it outside their service lane. (Sunday) Service advisor said technician found a 'poor connection' at the stop/start relay...Always in the back of my mind-what if this happened on the trail? Sorry you and your wife had to fine out!

Your experience has me back to thinking of installing a real dual battery system...Or maybe just a really good aftermarket battery and a way to totally bypass the ESS. One of the reasons I ordered the trailer tow package was to get the 240 amp alternator-wanted the electrical system beefed up and not held hostage by a crappy ESS system and it's even crappier lawn mower battery.

Not really sure. I have a Tazer that shuts that off. I have the Turbo BSG thing. It finally stopped and I unplugged the battery for a bit. Plugged it back in and used my little jumpstarter and it cranked slowly, then fired up and charged like nothing happened. The Jeep Wouldn’t shut down. Usually it will just go to sleep after shutting it down and closing doors. It’s almost like something was stuck on, like a faint buzzing noise in the engine bay that wouldn’t stop. After removing the cables everything went quiet and it reset.

I have never had any problems with it. But it sure ran down fairly quickly in 4 low. It’s all good now though. Weird.

I made metal brackets for a cargo shelf. The height above the floor and it's size are adjustable to your needs. Mine is made to compliment the function of my DIY Camping/Sleeping Platform from a prior video. Hope you find this idea interesting.
I CAN confirm that it can support 165 lbs.

Same thing just happened to me on the freeway. Made a post about it in Issues part of forum. Weird thing is right after Jumpstart everything was fine just like yours. Took it to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong just the battery needed charging. Did you leave the car playing music idled for a few before this?

Nope. I was just wheeling up a steep grade in 4 low as we have countless times. Almost like the computer needed a reset. We will see if it happens again. I have done quite a bit of idling lately though.

Yeah this is what I'm thinking. If you turn off the car and back on when the ESS light comes on it seems to fix it. Computer glitches... idk

I made the decision to run the ARB compressor. Phase one complete. Drill two 3-1/2" vent holes in the vertical area with blue tape and then wire it and plumb it and we're set.

Coming along slowly. Among other things in my life I'm now feeding and elderly lady friend of mine every 3hrs, 10 minutes from my home. Her family is coming in from Canada to take over but their not here for a week or so.
My progress is slow but steady

Got my Mopar Performance Rock Rails installed over the weekend, got the left rail exchanged with a new one no problem and they slipped right onto the Jeep and the fasteners were easily installed and torqued. Really, really impressed with the build quality and fit of these rails and they were a big help as a step when I needed to put the top back up for a highway trip. Really like how they look, too. Pics whenever I take it out of the garage again.
