Installed a Rhino-Rack Vortex roof rack to mount our paddle boards on.

What's Rhino-Rack's recommendation for installing on freedom panels? I have the Mopar kit, and the instructions specifically says not to mount forward of the fixed hardtop. (They also interfere with reception on SiriusXM, so that's why I don't roll with them all the time)

As for me, I installed a Bestop Sunrider, and after I remembered I had it, a stubby antenna.

Looks great. Where do you take it! I have some sea eagle inflatables that we used at Lake Nockamixon last summer. Looking at maybe getting a “real” kayak and checking out some other places in the area.
Thanks! Here are a few paddling places in the Philly area. The PA state parks honor PA state launch permits, the county parks you usually need to purchase a different permit.

Let me know if you get a "real" boat and maybe we can hit the water together :)

Removed the "RUBICON" decals. I've been mentally going back & forth since I took delivery last Halloween. I felt they were just a bit to "in your face". Obviously some here are going for that, LOL.

Perhaps some day I'll replace them with something a bit more subtle, like the "miniature" 8" long version I've seen. For now I'll just enjoy the clean look.

If you were super careful I’m sure you could sell the stickers...

Thanks for the links. I got the permits last year at Nockamixon; couldn’t believe they required a permit for my daughter’s SUP. The inflatable kayaks I understood, but a paddle board? Just a money grab.
and the Sea Eagle is pretty good for an inflatable. People take them down rapids and everything. As a novice Kayaker I just wanted something somewhat cheap and portable, but blowing them up gets old quick.

i don’t know what the summer is going to look like with this Coronavirus, but I imagine I’ll renew my launch permit and blow ‘er up again. Unless, I buy a real one. Any suggestions for a first real kayak? Feel free to PM.
Appreciate the offer to hit the water together.
thanks

This is how they were installed in a few of the videos I watched.

My Smittybilt SRC Gen 2 front bumper finally arrived to match the rear I installed last week.

Holy crap removing the stock bumper and putting this one on was a workout. I need an impact wrench. :)

Smittybilt winch on the way!

Spiderweb sunshade, works well with the Sunrider and not so much Jeep hair for the missus.

Synergy sector shaft brace, front and rear track bars, and rear track bar relocation bracket. Solved my wandering steering issues.

It drives great and is quiet-zero squeaks, clicks or pops. Steer Smarts also offers this trackbar as a Pro model with sleeved poly bushings. I chose not to do the Pro version due to concerns of poly bushings squeaking, however other members have chimed in that they have the poly bushings and they too are quiet. Luckily, you can upgrade to the poly bushings at any time...another future upgrade!

Prior to installing the Steer Smarts trackbar I had a Teraflex IR trackbar which is also very good and did make a big difference when I replaced the OEM trackbar. The reason I sold the Teraflex was I installed the Steer Smarts drag link & tie rod (Rubi length version) then added a Fox 2.0 TS top mount stabilizer-which on hard right turns was just too close for comfort to the Teraflex adjustment sleeve. The Steer Smarts allows you to rotate the clamps as needed for clearance.
I've got almost the same front end, and it's been great! Only differences on mine are the use of SteerSmarts stabilizer relocation brackets, i have the pro model track bar (no squeaks yet, but keeping an ear on it), and the Synergy track bar brace.

I've yet to install the brace, but keep hearing about new steering box bolts being strongly recommended. My dealer is, surprise surprise, filled with morons that can't seem to come up with the right part number. Even after kneeling in the parking lot punting at the bolts, they still have that look that a dog gives when asked to do algebra. And they won't let me behind the counter to search their database, because of legal reasons. Would you happen to have the part number handy?

Looks sweet! Glad to hear of the improved handling. May i ask where you ordered the rear track bar axle side bracket from, and how long did it take you to get it delivered? Thanks

Thanks. Why is that?
He's probably referring to a set of shackle silencers. Small rubberized plastic half sleeves that snap into the shackle and prevent them from banging on the bumper. There are also rubber donuts that get inserted on the shackle pin in between the shackle and the bumper attachment points.
