It's the bracket that I fabricated for my side mirror when I have the doors off....

got mine on 2 weeks ago. Learned a few things already:

1. Always keep a hat in the car to keep my hair out of my
face
2. Close it before I back into the garage. It sticks up just,
high enough for my garage door to catch it. Haven’t
had a incident yet.
3. Latch both clamps or it will whistle.

Traded base model JL for a 2019 Sahara with tow, blind spot, premium stereo, and LED lighting.

Rigid cubes on Artec A pillar mount. Also added Hi Lift Mount/jack to hood.

My caster dropped to about 4 degree after Dynatrac 2" lift, and steering became twitching again. So a new LCA is on the agenda. I have seen Teraflex, Synergy, RK, MC arms installed on other Jeep, but nothing compared to @Clayton Off Road overland+ LCA. I have to admit I was partially attracted by the "overland" name. But this thing is built like a tank, massive and heavy, the joints seem super thicc, flexible, and probably overbuilt to be durable. In fact, it is so heavy I had to use a jack to hold it while installing, and swapped to a shorter spring bolt to accommodate its presence.

For future reference: my Mopar LCA was roughly 24 1/4" eye to eye, it gave me about 6 degree caster.

With Clayton LCA I set to 24 1/2", and that gets me back to 6.5 degree caster.

no room in the garage, so I put a crane on the top of the shed on the side of my house...

need to figure out a hoist and then test it out. thinking the little 440lb electric from harbor freight should do the trick

finished this. looking forward to testing it in the morning

it's not, but it is massively over built. I gave it the old stand on the ball and bounce up and down test and it's good for at least 500lbs by my anti-math

Sold my OEM wheels and tires. Broke the rolling tonneau cover on my truck while loading and had to take the JL. Yanked the rear seat and they fit OK!

I learned something myself just two days after installing it.

Make sure you latch it when you close it. If you don’t... they will open themselves at about 25 mph

New JTops Sunshade came in today. Very happy with it!

You can/should pull those straps way tighter. It shouldn't have any sag. I learned after the first time I put mine on. Tighten the straps as much as you can so it stretches taught across the top
