Put on the $30 Amazon door sill guards.

The fronts were fitted beautifully.

The rears weren't molded at all, so it took pressure to get them to fit along the curve rear sill.

That said, way better than the $79 on the eMopar store.

Then went out into the BLM. I love my state.

I have seen people using them to avoid COVID. I am around positive patients all day. I use a simple surgical mask for regular contact and a N95 if intubating or preforming any other aerosolizing procedure. Stay safe!

I’ve got N95 respirators from, oddly enough, paint supply stores. I still had a couple when all this started. I too work in a primary care .org (but not front lines doing medical intervention) and have been using surgical masks when needed, and we’ve been supplying clients with reusable and sanitized cloth masks.

After 8 days of ownership, the weather is finally good enough to take the doors off. First time I’ve ever had a Jeep and first time in one with the doors off. What an amazing feeling. Grinning ear to ear all day on this perfect 75° sunny day!

Installed new Yeti track bar (damn is this thing heavy) and the Falcon adjustable steering stabilizer.

Now i’m sore from head to toe. I’m no mechanic...just very determined.

Nothing crazy, replaced my stock antenna with a MastRus 17" Flex Antenna. Looks much better than the stock antenna. Great reception, only $20 on Amazon.

At first glance, I thought you had some sort of strange pointy top on your jeep .... on second glance, it a cover for a well or trash can behind the Jeep

Today is was the first step to my new wheels going on.

drove 3hrs round trip for these 285/75/17 KO2’s

$650 for a set of 5 with less then 2k miles was a deal that I simply could NOT pass up.

I centered the front sway bar on my JLR. During my suspension mods I noticed that the sway bar was shifted to the passenger side and the drivers side sway bar link was sitting at about 70 degrees instead of vertical. I loosened the four bolts that hold the sway bar to the frame (do not use impact-the nuts look pressed fitted) and was able to shift it just enough for both sides to line up. Fixed!
