Press out the bushings and press the JL bushings into the JT shocks.WAIT WHAT??? How the Gladiator shocks fits on JL/JLU ?The rear JT shock is a 14 mm hole top and bottom The JL is 13mm hole top and bottom.
Pretty much. I sanded the texture off the part first. Used 120 regular sand paper for that, before switching to more finer paper to get it nice and smooth. I made sure to paint the side edges of the part as we have extreme panel gaps. I also painted the flat part a 1/4" that tucks under the cowl plate in front of windshield. This is where I screwed up, should have gone for more coverage. I got a picture, here:
Other than that, straight forward. Sand, prime few coats, sand, paint a few coats, sand, clear coat, then I did rubbing compound and wax. A member here recommended the paint kit from this site (You can find the Mopar paints cheaper, but I liked that I could get everything in 1 kit here): https://touchupdirect.com/
The part has a slight orange peel texture to it now, but looks great in person. Not bad for rattle cans on the lawn.
What brand did you get. They look like a better quality that I have seen.Externally accessible jumper cable.
No more opening the hood to jump a battery.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot this weekend.I just painted my fender on my Ram. I went to an auto paint supply store and they set me up with the color and a two stage clear all through spray cans. I had doubts but it came out factory finish!! The key in the final stages was to sand down the orange peel using 1500 grit sand paper with water. Afterwards, I used a non orbital polisher using a two step compound then polis which brought the shine and reflection back
