Today I finished installing my Smitty Bilt RTT, opened it up and finally crawled inside. Except for a few small details I am pleased with the tent. However, the small details have me somewhat annoyed. The people at Smitty Bilt need to give their quality control people in Asia a kick in the butt. Several of the tie down points and straps were missing from the frame. For example: The two straps that go over the folded tent. One was complete, the other could not be tied down as the short strap that was supposed to be attached to the frame for use with the long tie down strap was not there. I suppose that I should not complain too much since I went "cheep" on this purchase.

Celebrating 20 continuous years of marriage to the same woman today! :involve:

Cleaned the Jeep top to bottom, inside and out and put the hard top back on.

Last night I bought some Lexol Leather cleaner and conditioner and thoroughly did the interior leather. It made SUCH a difference. I highly recommend it.
Congrats:like:

Thanks! Do you think you'd still be able to get the limiting straps on the hooks if it was on the wall or would it need to be spaced off?
From what I can see, yes I think you could still get the straps on. Maybe shoot Topsy an email to confirm. It would be a nice wall solution, especially near a corner location where the doors would be out of the way.

Had a lot of vibration on the 50” light bar - not fancy but a black Kong chew ball was a tight fit - added a little black tape to make it as tight as possible and used plastic ties to ensure they don’t come out. Did the trick

Without some spacing, the limiting strap hooks on the Topsy bracket will be tight to the wall. The 3/4” thick lumber strapping I used to space my wall-mounted bracket gave plenty of room to hook the limiting straps.

The Topsy bracket is pricier than other door hanging options, but it only needs 42-48” of wall space to hang 4 doors - a great solution for smallish garages like mine.

Unfortunately this stay at home thing is becoming expensive. Too much time to find shiny things to buy for my JLUR. Ordered Borla touring climber exhaust and KC pro6 light bar. Hope this ends soon or I am going to start a go fund me page for my ever demanding Jeep>
Do what I did. Break your hand wrenching and you won't be able to do any more wrenching for 6 to 8 weeks. That way you won't buy stuff 'cause it won't fit in the garage :(

Started installing the poison spyder crawler rear bumper and tire carrier. That thing is HEAVY! Only dropped it once lol. I have to pull it back off and open up the holes on tire carrier bracket in the bumper. They’re just slightly off and won’t allow the mounting bolts to line up.

Added Dynatrac 2" lift to my overland build today, there is about half inch to spare from my 7-ft garage door opening to the top of my Jeep. I don't want to park outside, guess no more lift and 37 for me!

OMG! Tell me about it! It’s driving me crazy. I broke my leg jumping out of my boat but it’s made a huge impact on my wrenching ability
