Got it on amazon. Like I said used it on my previous raptor and dragged the crap out of it and it’s still holding. Also it’s a good step to reach on the roof. Best $100 you can spend imo
Thanks for the info Ray. Got it added to my wish list.

Later,
Johnny

My home made fix to the spare tire bumpers after my new 35 and new 4.5" offset wheel made them too short.
Before:

After; cut some 1 1/4" dowl and put a chair glide on the tire end. Painted with plasti dip. Seems to do the trick but I still have to take her for a test drive.

Thanks @weeitsmikelee, @bloodwar & @Focker for helping. If this doesn't work I'll explore what you did.

Golf balls dont do that anymore. You must be really old .;)
:CWL::CWL: Yes, the Ginsu reference was what worried me, but good call on the ball technology too...

.., and yes,I am old., my knees say so...

I used to go into the woods to retrieve errant drives.., now..., just to pee...

Stay safe Jeepers!

I was going to bring some factory takeoffs to be mounted on my Jeep, but my dealer wanted $100 a tire for mount and balance since I didn't buy tires from them. Taking it to an NTB tomorrow, charging only $25 per tire total...

Nothing major in the JL, but I wrapped the A pillar handle with cork handlebar tape. It feels nice. But not sure yet how well it will hold up. Only time will tell:like:. And I put backup lights on my husband's JKU. It really was super easy. I'll adjust them later tonight when it gets dark and load up an updated picture:like:
Edit: nighttime pic

Still waiting on mine to ship, I’m debating leaving that black trim on mine as well, or also debating going to a 2.5” spring...... honestly, I haven’t got a freakin clue what I’m going to do........

Picked up a cheap DV8 spare tire carrier. Will utilize for now. Only real pain in the a** was tailgate vents have to be trimmed to allow install or delete them which I did not want to do (Dremel to worked like a charm)
(Not mine however example of what needed to be trimmed)

Will post when new tires wheels mounted. Hopefully next week. Ended going with Discount Tire. They priced match best deal I could find. This is wheel I decided on (thanks @Stormin’ Moorman and @Roky for input. Tires will be Nitto RGs.
