I wonder if that WeatherTech hood protector helps at all for debris flying into the windshield? You notice any difference?

It does not do anything to protect the windshield. This, and the AVS/Bushwacker one, is simply to protect the front edge of the hood.

It mounts with 3M tape. You must clean and properly prep the hood area and install when temps are 60 degrees or higher.

They're frame mounted and not too hard to put on. Recommend 2 people, tried myself with Jack and stands, and it fell off and scratched!

I did have to trim them for length just a bit, easy enough with a razor blade.

You can use chair leg tips or pipe end caps from Lowe’s / Home Depot

OK!!!! Busy 2 days working on the jeep!

Yesterday was foot pegs, tailgate bar and side mirror.... today...... Rubi suspension install!!!!

So....

There are enough posts on this forum about this so I'm not gonna bore you with details.... just pics and what kinda stood out for me....

For the front and rear end, I used hydraulic jacks to raise the jeep and scissor jacks under the axles... it worked great! It lowered low enough to be able to do what needed to be done.

REMEMBER TO RELEASE THE HANDBRAKE WHEN WORKING ON THE REAR END! It makes all the difference whether the coils go in easily or if you wind up in a frustrating situation

And having my daughter there really sped things up... and it was fun having a helper....

I haven't taken it out yet as it's raining and I have no doors on so I will let you guys know how she drives...

And it WAS a four hour job!!!!
