What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Added a winch:

• Warn Zeon 10-S winch with synthetic rope.
• Warn winch mounting plate.
• Poison Spyder Hawse fairlead.
• Warn battery isolator with the solenoid wired to auxiliary switch #3.
• Factor 55 FlatLink.
• Removed the bumper extensions.

A confession - I'm past the stage of heavy wrenching (or heavy wenching for that matter ) so I had a semi-local shop do the winch work.

Painted and installed 4 piece @Motobilt rear liners. They fit well...but the hardware wasn't great and they provide no directions online or on paper. I had to use 1 of my nutserts(Motobilt provides none for bolting to the body) and get 2 washers bc the stainless button head bolts provided were too small for 2 of the body holes. Made a trip to Ace Hardware. Motobilt needs to give these a little more attention bc they look nice when finished. I think a 37" tire should tuck in them nicely...any bigger would likely require trimming.

Installed my Spartacus tire carrier. i had a RC relocation bracket and my tire never lined up with the stops correct. This thing is stout!! Much better than my old setup

My Saturday in South Florida. My Sahara is about 2 weeks old..Here are my current updates.

- Painted Inserts in front Grill (Black)
- Flowmaster Exhaust (Force II Axle Back)
Tomorrow new wheels are going on.

1. Took off the doors and hardtop for the first time.
2. Made my own seat belt silencers with velcro straps. Tested up to 80mph with no issues
3. Rugged Ridge door sills
4. Rugged ridge side mirror
5. Bulletproof phone and go pro mount

Installed new powered sub under passenger seat and upgraded top dash speakers with stock Dodge Dart kicker speakers (plug and play). The difference is amazing to me since I’m not a huge audiophile. Worth the $150ish bucks ...

Got the winch mounted to the ADD front bumper and finally tightened it up. Got the rear all set and temporarily mounted but will have to remove it to install the lights when they come.

Went out and found a nice trail with my son. Broke a front axle. Got it towed home. Will figure out what comes next tomorrow
