there back off the bikini top would flap in the wind at 50mph so I had to improvise a solution...... worked!!! I also had to lengthen the straps on the windbreaker so they would work with the 2 door....

Thanks, I'm new to this so still learning. I won't be rock climbing so, don't plan to ever air down. However, I do plan to explore some serious trails.
Airing down is for more than just rock crawling. For instance, airing down helps in loose sand -- don't even need 4wd most the time.

Gloomy rainy day, so decided to change diff oil front and rear. Only at 8000 miles, but as much as we wheel it, and as much as I use the lockers, I decided to go ahead to check things out....

As you can see, everything is good, nothing jumping out at me, some filings clinging to the magnet in drain plug, but no chunks or pieces. The oil still looks good, and the front was actually cleaner than rear that’s in pic. Had to get this done without Colby, apparently she doesn’t work on rainy days.....:) We’re headed out, gonna be a mud bath out there today......

I have the non lsd rear. do I use the same 75W 90? And do I need to use an additive?

Got to do my first mods.

Wrangler Unlimited sticker delete.

I had to protect the hinge paint. Did the Red Rocket Racing 3M film.

What a pain, but worth keeping a clean look.

Spent another hour comparing my Gen 3 and my Gen 1 motors.
Loved my Gen1 never had a problem and they still gave me $3075. So FCA bought most of my Gen3 option.

Installed the Dynomax muffler delete. Install was easy and only took around 30 min. Initial impressions...100% satisfied with the tone. This is the way it should sound from the factory. It’s a deep tone but doesn’t overwhelm the senses. I loved the borla climber exhaust but from where it dumped just past the axel, it was causing vibration noises inside the cab...extremely annoying. At $100 this is by far the best exhaust mod. Tone is great, clearance gains are great, weight savings are great. I’m going to drive it for a week or so and will respond with final thoughts but extremely satisfied at the moment.

The manual says to use 75w85, but I’ve always used the royal purple 75w90. No need for additives unless you have the lsd with the clutch pack, then you’ll want to use a friction modifier.

Also softens the ride and reduces wheel spin which is better for the trail.
