April 15, 7am here in Chicago. Snowing a little here the morning in Chicago also. Just a light dusting of snow but apparently icy roads. At least 54 cars were involved in a accident with 14 transported to hospitals, 34 evacuated, and many treated on the spot. They had to close the expressway in one direction.

I don't ever recall such a large number of cars involved in a single accident here? I am very surprised by the large numbers involved in that accident. Especially since we are under sheltering in place orders. I guess some people did't get the memo.

Grew up and lived there for 35 years. Been in AZ for 5. Do not miss dealing with that garbage, especially in April. Year we moved, my wife wanted a mountain bike for her birthday (MAY 16th.) She couldn’t ride it on her birthday because we got 4 inches of snow. Be safe!

Installed K&N Cabin Filters - my 9 month old stock one was pretty dirty already (we get a lot of dust in the summer and the usual city air pollutants).

Super easy, sub 2 minute, install. Will now know that 6-9 months should be the rough amount of time to pull and clean them.

My wife is a retired nurse that worked downtown. She mentioned the roads are more crowded at this time of the morning in the downtown direction, as many medical professionals are on their way to work at the 3 major hospitals by the Circle.
I am downtown. There is always a traffic jam around North Ave. I just did not expect a 50+ car pile up. Especially when there is supposed to be less cars on the road. I supposed fewer cars might have made it worse. Bumper to bumper kind of limits your speed. Less traffic means higher speeds and less time to respond.

I am very thankful and greatful for all the medical personal, first responds and anyone else who is essential who has to be out there. Hopefully no one was hurt.

I have been meaning to take a look at mine. Going to replace both filters this week.

Took my 2018 Jeep JL Rubicon in for servicing when I noticed a set of take off Fox Gladiator Rubicon shocks for sale in the parts department and asked if they could be put on my JL.
Sure enough, they can and I bought them. A tad smoother ride and looks great.

Added @CavFab_mfg ultra clearance bumper...only weighed about 55lbs and definitely added clearance over the stock bumper. Also chopped rubi fenders and added Quake LED fender DRL/turn signal kit last wk. Ordered Motobilt inner liners. Replaced Rock Krawler LCA's with Metalcloak...painted them black with POR 15 brush on paint.

First time on this thread. I've been wrenching quite a bit over the quarantine period. Plan is to flat tow behind our motorhome, so I needed a bumper I could tow from. Installed a Rockhard 4x4 aluminum bumper with tow brackets. Will be wheeling mostly solo, so I installed a Warn Evo VR 10S. Directions said to install winch after bumper, because it wouldn't fit between the frame. However, it would have, and that would have made the job 2 hours faster in my case. I filmed a video of these installs that will be on our YouTube channel.

Next, in order to flat tow, the Jeep needed brake cables installed. One for brake operation and a second for an emergency brake application in the event of a disconnected, runaway Jeep!

Next week, I'll be installing a lighting harness kit so that the motorhome can control the Jeeps lighting.

Looks like a really nice ReadyBrake install. Very clean, mine is minus the air dam and rock guard thanks to Gander/Camping World installing the base plate and disposing of all the spare parts they did not think I would need or like to have on the front of my Jeep. Never going to have them do any work again I've included a picture of the front after they installed the base plate. Again, I really like what you have done.
