Installed the Rugged Ridge door sill thingys...

I don't know if they work exactly like the Quadratec version (they look exactly the same) but if they do, you may want to check in front lower sections of your driver and passenger doors to see if you see light coming through. I just took the Quadratecs out this week because water was able to come in from these leaving a gap in the weatherstripping.

Figured it was a good time for an oil change. The indicator said there was 25% left. It's been 7 months and around 4,800 miles.

I'll do the differential fluids tomorrow or late next week.

Why changing differential fluids? Doesn't need it and waste of fluids.

Today I installed Rough Country's front Adjustable Lower Control Arms and front Adjustable Track Bar. I had recently added an extra1/2" spacer lift all the way around (I already had 2" up front, and 1.5" out back), taller bump stops, and Teraflex shock extensions. With the taller amount of lift, I was starting to get concerned about the loss of caster, and my front axle was also off center about 1/2".

Everything is squared away now! The front axle is back where it belongs, and it looks like my caster is right around 6 degrees. I will say that the Jeep was tracking 'okay' before these latest upgrades, but its definitely better now. I purposely did one upgrade at a time so that I could gauge what mod made the most difference. In this particular case, the heavy duty RC front adjustable track bar really makes a difference. It's hard to describe, but the Jeep just feels more solid and grounded to the road.

A special shout out to @Roky for all his help. We must have exchanged 100 texts or more over the past week or two. Roky is The Jeep Suspension Whisperer...:). Thanks buddy!

Thanks, I will look. That's one of the reasons I decided to install them, I had water and mud stains under the inside of the passenger door.

It was a beautiful day. Put the Sunrider for Hardtop back on and put my UPR Oil Catch Can on.

I just ordered a Sunrider for Hardtop today. Have you taken it thru a car wash and how did it go?

Painted my inner fender liners. Tried installing, none of the hardware they gave fits, they gave a bunch of taped bolts for non tapered holes. so opened a beer and sat on the couch instead. They make nice floor decoration though

Truth be told, I only do the spray washes which it handles well. But wouldn’t be able to tell ya on the other.

Finally finished my CB Radio mic holder! I went through about 4 different designs to get to this, which I am happy with.

Nice job! With some soft flames, some 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper, and patience, you can polish those 3D prints.

I accomplished two things. The first was 2 days ago, and that was to get the TJ mirrors onto the Warn tube doors. They work just fine, although I had to make 2 trips to the hardware store to get screws long enough for them. Mission accomplished. I like the TJ mirrors, but if I had to do it again, I'd probably go with YJ mirrors. They have a little more area than the TJs. Anyway, I do like the rounded housing on the TJ mirrors better, so they get to stay.

The next one is the one to which I've most looked forward! See the next post...
