Replaced the engine & cabin air filters with K&N versions. The engine filter didn't look terrible, but the cabin filter was pretty grubby.

After installing the K&N filters, I noticed an immediate boost in horsepower & torque, and my turn signals blink a little faster. However, they're a bit heavier than OEM, so the passenger side now sits 0.00217" lower. I think it's totally worth it considering the massive performance gains K&N provides.

Did you put on the K&N sticker though?

Got the Synergy drag link last week and beat on the pitman arm TRE for about 3 hours with a pickle fork and could not get it to separate. I even tried heating it with map gas and a sledge hammer no luck. Totally destroyed the boot and melted the Nylok nut. I gave up and ordered this. The tool on the right is a Moog TRE separator and its worth every penny. Part number T40007. Pops em loose with an impact in about 15 seconds and no boot damage.

The regular TRE separator on the left wont fit between the pitman arm and the frame and also wont fit on the knuckle TRE's. The pickle fork in the middle is going in the trotline weight pile.
Synergy steering finally complete:

I've got a Rancho track bar and that took the majority of the slop out of the steering down to about a 1/2" of play. With Synergy steering and brace and its down to about 1/4 " barely noticeable. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Since Sunday, when the weather warmed up enough to do Jeep projects:

Put on Rubicon take-off suspension with 1/2” Teraflex spacers - resulted in 2-1/4” of lift that will suit my needs. Thanks to @Chrismccool for the deal on the Rubi take-offs and tips gleaned from the forums. I got to test out my new Tekton torque wrench and 24” breaker bar bought for this project; this was my first experience with Tekton, they will be my go-to for tools in the future.

Washed and waxed the inner side of the wheels while the were off - this is a holdover from my Corvette days, once you’ve seen dirt/grime/brake dust on the inside of wheels you just can’t unsee it.

Swapped the dome light to the ‘19+up version - got more light when I open the door!

Finally got the lower trim piece seated on the passenger side - a leftover from installing the trailer hitch wiring harness in cool weather.

Wired the LEDs that I got to fill the holes in the back bumper for back-up lamps - these were connected behind the driver’s side tail lamp and downstream of the repeater that comes with the trailer hitch wiring kit. The repeater is not tolerant of the current draw of the original incandescent lamp (1.75A/21W) with the LEDs (3A/36W); back-up lamps downstream of the repeater flash and then shut down. I solved this issue by removing the original incandescent lamps.

Getting ready to order a lift need input. I have 2019 JLRU. I’ve been looking at the Dynatrac 2 inch Enduro Sport lift And the Mopar lift with 35s not going to add extra weight. How is the ride quality? Light off-roading to none.
Our use case is similar re: light off roading. We run KO2 35’s, technically 34.5, with no lift on our 2018 JLUR. No issues with rubbing of any kind and the ride is unaffected.

Installed a stubby antenna, Quadratec pre-runner lights, and some Rough Country cube lights on the lower windshield. Also I love having the Aux switches to wire into.

Did you go into the menu and check when light activation comes on? I have mine set to only be activated when the ignition and car is running.

You need some Rubi Take-off 33's and that will make a huge difference.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
I installed fender liners that I bought back in November. It instructions were good. They gave me swell nuts to bolt the fender liners in with. I think self tapping bolts would have been way easier.and 12 times less hassle. Nice fit and finish. I bought these from a JLWranglerforums member for $100. When all is said and done, was it a necessary mod, no. But hey it gave me something to do during the shutdown..
