I already hit myself in the face with it l!!
Had a break in the snow to install my rear mud flaps. Not bad for $28 + a few tools
I wound up having to add an additional 1/2" spacer in the front and it still rakes to the front. If I had it to do over again I would not use the Tereflex. Even after emailing them about the issue not much help, still had to buy the additional spacer. This is going to have to be a "What did you TRY to do to your Jeep today" post...
The morning started in the F150 to pick up my 37" Nitto RidgeGrappler tires mounted on KMC XD137 wheels.
My buddy arrived, and we disconnected everything to lower the front suspension in order to install my Teraflex spacer kit...
As I removed my spring, I heard my buddy say "Well, this isn't good!"
There was no upper isolator on my passenger coil! The suspension has never been apart, so apparently it left the factory that way. We could see where the metal of the spring has scuffed up the metal where the isolator should be mounted.
I've noticed my passenger front seemed to be 1/2" lower than my driver's side, but never gave it much thought.
We called around, but no dealer had one in stock- the local dealer will get one in on Tuesday.
Sooooo, we connected everything back up and reinstalled the original (now puny looking :^) 33" stock tires.
Not feeling super confident about the build quality of my Jeep right now (wonder what other parts are missing), but I did prop the new wheel/tire up against the Jeep and I'm feeling really stoked about how it's going to look once installed! Unfortunately, I have a bunch of business travel coming up over the next couple weeks... anticipation!
The other downer is the Teraflex 1.5" spacer kit was supposed to get rid of the forward rake- however, the front spacers in the kit are 1" and the rears are 1.5" - so I'm thinking it will make the rake even worse... we'll see.
They're Rally Armor Universal Basic Plus flaps. Can get them from a few places http://www.rallyarmor.com/product_info.php/basic-mud-flaps-universal-basic-plus-black-logo-p-337where did you get the mudflaps?
Im thinking on getting that same Smittybilt rear bumper, what size tires are you running and do you have any issues with them rubbing on the bumper tubes when flexing?Finished up 4.88s. It’s a solid 5 Colby project. Ended up having to buy one of those Milwaukee Fuel impacts to crush the pinion thing-a-ma-jig. Glad it’s done.

and with a strategically placed composite shim and a big ass zip tie, there’s no rattling..........
They’re Rigid brand from the big orange box store, they have different depths and and you can stack and lock them together. Here’s what they look like without the stickers.....it cost hundreds of dollars for the decorative stickers...............I like the storage crates. Brand? Link?
