It's a joke. Actually I posted a smiley but apparently didn't do it correctly. Just wanted to see the new Jeep :)

Today I did the jeep wave.....I waved goodbye to my 2018 Sahara. After fighting with FCA since last March (11 months) about crappy steering and after multiple steering boxes, dampeners, track bars, alignment, tire pressures and whatever else we could suggest, it was time to stick a knife in it and call it done.

For those who said, I could never fight FCA and win, and they have more money than me and they will string it out until I gave up........you were dead wrong !

I was very sad since other than the Walmart shopping cart syndrome it was a great, great vehicle. I enjoyed it so much after much test driving and shopping I picked up a 2020 Rubicon. Minimal out of pocket cost but an upgraded jeep and 2 model years newer with zero miles. All the modifications (mostly cosmetic) easily transferred over to the new one. And I can now change my avatar from the infamous shopping cart to a real vehicle and do a new jeep wave from the seat of a firecracker red JLUR
Congratulations!!!!

I’m desperately trying to get my replacement sorted out.

Finished my hard top, freedom panels and doors storage system. I'm by no means any kind of craftsman, this is the most complicated DIY project I've done, but happy with results. And I got to see my Jeep naked for the first time! Too bad it's cold here, but I'm all set for Spring!

Like we previously discussed over the PM waves, it took an attorney to push the right
buttons and get it all done. Absolutely zero cost to me for legal fees. I don’t know if CA is a fee reversal state but in Ohio FCA had to pony up all legal costs.
Hope it works out I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Wow thanks! :)

Here are the more specific parts, there are also several D-rings, 2 rachet straps, 2x4s, 2Ă—8s, and different sized bolts, screws and other hardware.

The doors platforms have home depot by the foot runner on wall and lip, and on shelf is repurposed padding that goes under exercise equipment (cats had fun shredding it)

I'm adding a couple pictures for how I attached the pulleys to the rafters, as well as my backup support failsafe.

I’m so happy for you!

I won my case via arbitration and was awarded a full buyback/replacement (and no fees).

My problem is that Stericycle has been slow and three weeks later I am no closer to getting my replacement. FCA has discontinued my color and now I can’t order a replacement because I only want Punk’n. I found one online but because Stericycle isn’t answering my or my dealer’s calls, I can’t claim it.

I’m not happy.

That sucks. Stericycle called me very fast and within a week I met their guy, did all the paperwork and they took possession of the jeep. FCA sent full payment even before the Stericycle transaction.

Installed Tuffy Security Deck. Had to alter my cargo mat. Might line the outside of the lid with a no slip mat and install D-rings at the corners and midlid for tie downs to secure stuff on top of the lid.

I added carpet squares to the top of mine and use these

to secure items on top. The enclosed area is usually nearly full due to the emergency equipment and protective gear I carry for calls.

Nice!

They were quick to call at first, but I haven’t heard from my rep in eight days. It’s now day 21. I explained my situation last week and still no response. My dealer was calling supervisors there and just got voice mails and no call backs. Unreal.
