how’s the radio mounted? I see the mount on CMM but curious how you got the radio mounted to the side there?

Installed @Metalcloak skids. Went together like Lincoln Logs. Super easy and done in the garage with a floor jack and wood blocks. I didn’t even drop one F . It took a few hours to do by myself, but I needed the break from reality.

The only issue I encountered was on the last bolt at the bottom rear of the gas tank skid. The bolt for the bracket was 3/8”x1” which was too long as it hit the gas tank and the lock nut wouldn’t fit.

I ended up using a 3/8”x3/4” and a regular nut with red locktite. Other than that, it fit like a glove.

The Rancho Skid looks to be holding up well. Any hard hits to it? Do you have the front as well? A lot like the MC but the Rancho Red seems just as thick and strong.

Installed Rubicon fender flares on my Sport S. A 16 year old member of the family was driving the Jeep, tangled with the ordering screen at Sonic and tore up the front passenger flare (destroyed the mirror too). I found a decent set of GCM Rubicon takeoffs from a guy in north Georgia. They installed fine, but I had old super cheap plastic rivets that wouldn't break clean. Might have to redo them. Have a set LED markers coming from @cstorey780. Next is installing those and deciding between Tazer or dealer for configuring them. So, all in all valuable lesson learned: damage = upgrades.

Also finally installed my rigid lights on my rear LOD bumper. Only wired it to come on for reverse. Thought about also wiring it to aux, but decided I'll probably have additional lights on my rack later so I can use those instead

I have both front and rear. Haven’t gotten them out yet, been on call the last three weeks. Next weekend will be their and the Metalcloak’s first test, but I think they’ll do just fine.

N the shop for the first Jeep wave oil change. I hate letting other people touch my cars. But it’s free
Not if they screw something up.
