This thread is the best and the worst all at once. It gives me great ideas but it also makes me constantly add to the endless mod list.

Cargo camera?

He explained it to me here:
I used the following:
The camera is great. Its sort of genius that they have these small wires that loop out of the cord and depending on your install you cut them or leave them uncut. For example, if you mount it like I did, you cut one wire to flip the image left and right (because its default is rear facing) and you cut another wire to flip it upside down (because its default is to be mounted under the lip of a trunk (which is the opposite of what I did) and there's an additional wire to clip that would remove the "distance markers" if you weren't interested in that as well. Quality is great although the rear camera that comes with the Jeep is a bit sharper compared.

You need the video cable and Tazer to connect and then enable the "cargo camera" option. This gives you the ability to engage the uConnect system to show you the video feed. And I wired the camera as outlined in this thread: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/off-road-camera-front-facing-writeup.13714/

Been on jury duty this week so I’ve had some time to play since I wasn’t selected. I was able to tint my front windows to match the back, apply WRANGLER decal on hood and flag decal on the side, installed led light on back window that lights up everything, new dash speakers, leds in tail lights, my son’s favorite being the Jeep lights that shine down from the doors, and also put in the tazer jl mini.

Can you provide the link and info for the rear window light? That is awesome how much light it provides!

Did you notice any GPS or SiriusXM reception loss with this rack? Seems it has a big metal bar mounted on top of the GPS/XM antenna. With maximum-3 they recommend relocate these antennas (right above the sound bar).
Update...i have noticed Sirius going in and out on cloudy days or when driving thru tree covered areas. Not sure if I will relocate the receiver as once my free promotional service is up I don’t plan to renew. I use CarPlay with my phone and Apple Music account.

Thank you for the update, you can actually relocate the atenna if you feel necessary, Maximus-3 has the instructions.

How about GPS, is it still functioning?

How close to the dash does the JLE dock sit, or is it physically contacting the dash? Are the arms and rack pretty stable on bumpier roads? Thanks!
On mine, the outer track parts are the only portion that touches the dash. So far yes, you have to tighten them very tight to keep them from moving around but they haven’t budged.

Ahh....understood. Yep, I ordered the black one (obviously) from the link under their video and it came with OE fittings.
Mine came in yesterday with the OE fittings. They really should update their picture. I may call and make the suggestion. Otherwise, it’s in and looks great.
