I’m just wondering how you have first hand knowledge of his undies 🤷
I mean isnt that what overlanders keep in their drawers back there cause they are out for weeks at a time?

So I took my Jeep to the dealership to put on the Mopar OEM mud flaps they ordered for me. They didn't fit. They said the holes don't line up, and they'll do some more research as to why.

Wide rock rails prevent me from getting Rock Blox, and Extreme Terrain says theirs don't work with the Safety Package, which I have. This is getting downright stupid.

Also, my Jeep seems to be about an inch or so lower than it was. At first I thought maybe they switched out the tires, but no, they are the same size as my spare, which I know they didn't remove because my cover is untouched.

Maybe I'm just discombobulated because of course they had to switch the seat and steering wheel settings, but getting out sure was a smaller drop than what I've been used to.

Is there any reason why my vehicle could be lower than it was when it came from the factory? I assume they had to remove the tires in order to try to fit the mud flaps on.

EDIT: I just compared the space between the tire and the fender with photos. It's me. Apparently my fibromyalgia makes me utra sensitive to any spatial changes.

Any chance they lowered your seat? If you got a short Tech person, they may have lowered the seat so they could operate the jeep easier.

I don't think the Willys seat lowers, does it?

I assume it does. It has the same seats as a Sport S, right? The handle on the side of the seat can jack it up, or let it down.
Indeed it does, mystery solved. God bless you, at least I know I'm not losing my mind.

(This is what I get for driving a 2006 Wrangler for 18 years. Seat height adjustment, what's that?)

Modern Marvels! Next thing you know, they'll have power windows and locks.

Edit: If you're on here, you've probably already lost your mind. ;)

Did you check WeatherTech? The latest models have cut outs to support the standard OEM rock rails, the extended OEM rock rails and the OEM running boards. I have the running boards and just installed a set that fit great.

Awesome… no tricks, I just summon my inner caveman and tighten the fuk out of it….If you truly reach 250ftlbs it will not come loose… 99 percent of the guys complaining the jam nuts come loose, they are not reaching 250 or more ( I always go past a bit) ft lbs, but they sure do swear they did…🤣 ( I still call bs ).
If my underwear is dirty after dealing with jam nuts I know they are at torque and won't loosen off....
