What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Dropped it off at the shop for some pre-roadtrip maintenance. And the most exciting news of all...... Rubi transfer case swap is finally happening. Can't wait to get the Jeep out on the trails with that 4:1 crawl ratio.

Washed it………would like to say it was covered in dirt and mud from the trail, but work has been nuts lately, haven’t been out in a while…sucks… .Reality is it was covered in bird shit, bug splatter and spray from the tires after hitting some standing water at the Starbucks parking lot……

Underneath with a mask and a shield and 4 cans of CRC Marine covering up any corrosion. Oil Spray on Wednesday. Parking on the grass thru Saturday.

Already had JSCAN, but added the Tazer JL Mini mostly for its live functions, and auto stop start memory.

I've no use for a dead pedal, but it's nice that at least one of the aftermarket options provides an aesthetic match for the OEM pedal pads.

And if I ever need tutoring on the distinction between the Tazer and JScan (something I'm still struggling with, particularly the latter), expect a PM from me.

It really comes down to if you want the live functions and ability to use your lockers/swaybar disco when not in 4lo. If so go with the Tazer and expect some frustrations using it. Otherwise go Jscan and enjoy the easy life

The owner of the shop found one somewhere. I had to give up on getting a new one so hopefully this re-built used one works well. I guess we'll see.

Just means that when you put a twin turbo LS in it you wont feel as bad?

i have learned very early on jeeps are the same as harleys. unending money pits, that no matter how many times you say your done. thats the last piece, here comes another one you cant live with out and have to figure out how to pay for.

yup. switching from 2.5" to 3.5" springs on the jeep. next week or two. should have the new springs thursday this week :D

I tested the brakes. They work.

The screenshots don't sufficiently capture the ambitious rate of deceleration, but both the vehicle and the forest rat remain intact, so I'll log it as a Win.
