Anyone with a Willys or Sport runnning 315-70 or 35x12.5” wide tires on the stock rims? Wondering how much rubbing there might be, if a simple spacer would take care of it. I like my rims and they’re pretty light compared to most aftermarket, plus they’re free, so not motivated to get new ones. Will be lifting so height is not a concern.
Yes, you will need spacers if you have a regular Sport, Willys or Sahara.

Diesels and High Altitude come with axles that are 1.5 inches wider, so you should be good with those.

Good luck.

Catching up on this week. Back to Micky Thompson Baja Boss A/T's (from BFG KO2's), and just installed Terra Acoustics Front SoundStage Speaker Upgrade... Can definitely hear a difference!

Is there enough difference to justify the cost? I was thinking of those but man they sure are expensive.

I think so, a lot more clarity... Compared to some other kits out there, a good value.

I washed the outside and vacuumed and dusted the inside. I drove through some snow on the roads in Colorado on Wednesday and slush on the roads seems to get a car dirtier than anything other than a mud bog. So I washed it. I've made many trips on trails in Utah so there was a bit of red dust on almost everything on the inside so I brushed/wiped/vacuumed the inside.

A little bit of a catch up here, the cold has caused me to drag some projects along far too long but they're all done now.

1) Artec belly pan- bought during black Friday and finally put on. Can't wait to put it through it's paces

2) Artec inner fenders powder coated gold too match wheels and decals. These forced me to remove my Grimm mounted ARB compressor.

3) Put the compressor under the passenger seat using the innovative AT system. I really dig it but don't have pics

4) installed a rhino rack back bone and vortex bars for the 23 zero tent I got a SMOKING deal on. Ready for spring!

I’m about to pull the trigger on the Artec belly armor for my 2dr. Was it easy to do by yourself and on your back?

Easy enough lol, I would do it again myself. The toughest part is the front mounts of the engine skid which is just awkward and the gas tank skid which really wasn't bad, did it just me and never thought I needed more hands. I would recommend a blanket or creeper though, laying on the ground in the cold sucked all the heat or of me by the time I was done.

Yeh, it sure has been cold around here this winter... none of those fabled 60° days this January... hoping Feb brings some relief. I had a space heater going in the shop today but ended up freezing anyway.

On the website it says an 18% shorter shift. Do you like the shorter throw of the shifter? And is it much smoother than the original?
After driving it for a while now I'd say it's a definite improvement. Wouldn't say it's smoother, I would call it more crisp & does have shorter throws, plus I like the cool factor of a retro round ball knob. Actually I wouldn't have thought there'd be much difference given its just a cable operated shifter but pleasantly surprised. I attribute it the original being steel with a heavy ball with critical parts encased in plastic whereas the B&M is lighter weight all-aluminum with a shorter length.
