What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Did you end up notching the axle back tube to clear the indexing nub, or just get it slipped on good nuff like I did and crank er down?

up to the nub and cranked in down...its a tight fit, not worried about it.

Today I received and installed a HikeIt X9 throttle controller. Took the Jeep out for a quick test drive with the new module and so far I like the results. Time will tell if it was a worth my while or not. Late last month I had installed a Bulletpoint mount for my phone.

Took my top and doors off for the first time, and installed these second hand Mopar Tube Doors that are super amazing. Love it. All automotive experiences should be this enjoyable.

Does the front tube door latch above the middle horizontal bar?

Installed inner fender liners from Reaper Offroad.

Curious on fender liners… do they actually do anything or it just a mod for looks? Always wonderedwhat the purpose of doing this is.

You’re spot on! They look amazing and are tough. I haven’t hit hidden falls yet. Every time I’m back in Tx I’ve had too much family stuff going on. Hopefully I’ll get there this next time! It looks like a blast!

It is, and totally understand the family commitments. If you're coming from AZ and at some point can allocate the time for it, you should plan to spend a couple of days in Big Bend NP. Went there last November with a group and camped just south of Terlingua for a base camp. Truly one of the best National Park experiences I've ever had, and the off-road piece to it was just awesome. Had a blast. We're going to try to hit Palo Duro Canyon up in the Panhandle for this Veterans Day week. Second-largest canyon in America and hardly anyone knows about it outside Texas. Lots of cool trails up there. Hope you get back to Texas soon!

Agh, I really need to keep my eyes open for a deal on somebody's Mopar tube doors like you got. I love the look and would really like a set. Have not taken my doors off yet, but would like to. Your ride looks terrific!

My wife, and my hero, always wanted a Jeep or mustang. Here we are in our 40s and have made it in life, so I bought her both. Anyways, the jeep is snazzberry, but I drive it because it’s cool. I just made it cooler
I added Nitto 275/60 R20s (same stock rim) and roof rack. It is now “dads jeep”.

Pics? I went with Weathertech and am happy but yeah... not inexpensive. The fit of the front 'deluxe' mats are perfect. The rear cargo mat for my two door is nice but not like a glove.
