I've not seen that seat fabric pattern before. It is unique to the Islander trim? And has it worn off already, as the photo suggests? That's unfortunate if that's what occurred.

It is unique to the Islander and it is worn on the passenger seat bottom only. Weird that it’s better preserved on the driver’s side.

Yesterday, technically, but got the side parts of my CJ Renegade inspired stripes on. Will do the hood portion of them some time this week.

Are you also changing the Rubicon decals to something retro? Are you going to go with white wheels too?
I was going to go the retro look but I didn't think it would look good with Sting grey. A black Jeep would be perfect for a retro style Jeep

I've got the retro "soft 8" style Baja Xtremes in gunmetal to pick up on the gray inserts in the Rubicon grille. So, not a pure vintage take on the old CJ Renegades. I'm leaning towards "Renegade" in the JL Rubicon font for the hood sides but I haven't sorted out how to best fit it in with the tri color theme.

Got a bath then time to take it off! Doors off, top off (ish—since I may need it for the last minute monsoons that may still pass), sunrider installed. Ready for fall!

What brand side steps are you running? Have you hit any rocks with them yet?

I used my Dymo label maker to add a reference sticker to the fuse box lid.

I'm not familiar with other products so I can't compare it with others but it definitely looks good after applied and water beads off it pretty good.

I’m a Meguiars girl. Can’t be beat imo! I legit have a wax addiction…this is how I came to the conclusion that the entire Meguiars line is my favorite.

Holy crap. The fading is an optical illusion based on what angle you look at it. From the driver’s side it totally looks like it’s faded. But I just opened the passenger, and it’s there. And and, it looks like it’s faded on the dr

Today is slightly better.
I got it in, but the reverse camera and CarPlay aren’t working. Trying hard not to drive through the garage wall.

I’m looking forward to forgetting all about this horrible install and just enjoying it… someday.
