Heheh if only...Wow, how did you move the battery "down" like that? This is crazily awesome!
Oh shit, that's right, I always had the impression that the battery is sitting above and not flush against the floor of the cargo area, when in fact it was the rear seat that's elevated. Stupid me!Heheh if only...
Just took the rear seat out. It sits on top of the battery.
I was on the waitlist for about 3 weeks. Once I ordered them I had them in two days.@Grinner - How long after you ordered the Terra Acoustic's did it take to get them? I ask because I intended to purchase these and was placed on a waiting list. Still on it...
I disconnected the battery, ran the wire through the webbing wire-housing from tailgate to interior trim, then under the rear panel and tied it into the 12V power on the left-rear side after pulling off the right, rear, and left interior trim panels. The Black to Black, and Red to multi-color wiring with the connection. I used heat-shrink/solder connections and sealed each of those with black heat-shrink tubing. The only issue is that the wire AAL supplies you with is 8-10 inches too short as you put the paneling back on in the end and I pulls on the wiring. Going to attach a link that I used and followed for someone who did a great job wiring it on their own too. That looks incredible! Can you please share how you wired the light bar? Thanks so much!
Looks great! We love ours as well.Yesterday I drove about 400 miles (round trip) to pick up what I consider to be one of the best additions to my JLUR, a Bestop Sunrider. I put off buying one for a while but finally decided that I’d prefer to have the ease of the sunrider vs. popping off the freedom panels every once in a while. A fellow forum member posted their used Sunrider for sale and I jumped on the opportunity to make the swap. They helped with the install and I was immediately in love with the new top. It’s so easy to just flip the top open and not have to think about where to put the panels in the meantime. I’m so excited to use it as often as possible!
