Since the last time I posted, I made some upgrades.

1) I installed diode dynamics ssc 3 lights on my bumper.. diode dynamics was having a July 4th sale and I took advantage of it.. very happy.

2) I followed some one on this forum and installed the cargo light box on the rear window.. things are so much brighter now. I hardwired it to the rear 12v socket.. not the best job but sufficient.

3) I bought a domestic fridge.. and the guys at Epic Adventure installed the domestic hardwire kit.. awesome! Our 4xes come with a built-in big battery, I think I can power this fridge for a very long time without ever starting the engine.. I am thinking of getting an inverter, (got the idea from this forum) so maybe I can power a heat induction cooker, coffee maker, or maybe even a portable water boiler.. maybe..

4) Most importantly, after 3 ½ months, I finally lifted today my 4xe.. 2.5 inch teraflex spacer lift, with custom drive shaft, new spare tire carrier, and 3.3 shocks, 37s and method's 703 (bronze), and teraflex steering stabilizer.. I wish they make gold 703s.. thank you Epic Adventure. I am posting before and after.

I must say with the steering stabilizer (firm), is something that I like.. I wish it could be firmer.
I am still testing the different dials of the piggy shocks, but it seems like I like the former settings.

I am still getting used to the new height, feels wobbly and not as stable, but I am really enjoying the new "high-angle" view.

Before I installed the lift, the front seemed heavy (after I installed the winch), but now things have leveled out.

The drive is definitely sluggish because I can definitely feel the extra weight difference. During e-save mode I can see the gas engine is "working" harder, rpm is definitely higher to move this brick. I think regearing would solve this issue, but unfortunately, jeep has blocked this and has yet to allow us to really do anything. Jeep needs to fix this.

Pure electric is definitely not as responsive than stock during launch, again because it is so much heavier, but I haven't had time to really test it as I ran out of battery. (EPIC guys didn't charge after the lift, and they used up my battery when they were test driving it).. no worries.

I am very happy with the new lift. I really wished I could have made my wheels stick out a bit more, but due to stupid vehicle laws, I would prefer to stay "legal" than to risk troubles.

When teraflex comes out with their specific 4xe springs, I would remove the spacers and OEM springs.. plug and play.

If you were to ask why teraflex but not others, I would tell you because I live in a rain forest, Pacific northwest, teraflex is the best in wet environment (as I was told by the Epic guys.... "Alright, just take money").

Next big job is new skid plates.. I have already eyed my pick but they are not yet.. (they told me it would be available now.. still waiting.. I want to go to Moab and Rubicon trail..)

I love my jeep, this is so fun to drive.

Heheh if only...

Just took the rear seat out. It sits on top of the battery.
Oh shit, that's right, I always had the impression that the battery is sitting above and not flush against the floor of the cargo area, when in fact it was the rear seat that's elevated. Stupid me!

Drove up to Placentia to pick up some 392 takeoffs from @Luis Rodríguez great dude, if you are in or around Placentia hit him up. Headed over to @Discount Tire to have TPMS swapped and wheels balanced and mounted. Then headed over to my Father-in-law’s house and partially de-badged the Jeep (Sahara and Wrangler Unlimited removed).

That looks incredible! Can you please share how you wired the light bar? Thanks so much!
I disconnected the battery, ran the wire through the webbing wire-housing from tailgate to interior trim, then under the rear panel and tied it into the 12V power on the left-rear side after pulling off the right, rear, and left interior trim panels. The Black to Black, and Red to multi-color wiring with the connection. I used heat-shrink/solder connections and sealed each of those with black heat-shrink tubing. The only issue is that the wire AAL supplies you with is 8-10 inches too short as you put the paneling back on in the end and I pulls on the wiring. Going to attach a link that I used and followed for someone who did a great job wiring it on their own too.

Good luck!

Yesterday I drove about 400 miles (round trip) to pick up what I consider to be one of the best additions to my JLUR, a Bestop Sunrider. I put off buying one for a while but finally decided that I’d prefer to have the ease of the sunrider vs. popping off the freedom panels every once in a while. A fellow forum member posted their used Sunrider for sale and I jumped on the opportunity to make the swap. They helped with the install and I was immediately in love with the new top. It’s so easy to just flip the top open and not have to think about where to put the panels in the meantime. I’m so excited to use it as often as possible!
