I haven’t been to the Bigfoot Museum. I had no idea there was such a thing. But now I’m very intrigued! I will have to check that out. Blue Ridge is beautiful.

Yep it’s a real place. Good for a chuckle. Took my kids there when they visited. Has Bigfoot poop. No lie.

I mentioned this museum to my husband earlier today and he was vaguely dismissive. Only when he saw the picture of the Sasquatch turd did he agree to go.
So the next sunny day we have off, we’ll be in the Jeep on Hwy 64 headed to the Sasquatch Museum in Blue Ridge.

Most sunglasses I’ve owned that are polarized have a coating that Is prone to scratching unless Maui Jim’s have some different technology?

They start with high quality optical glass. Can't speak to coatings and durability, but Maui Jim's are the best sunglasses I've ever had. I've owned more than several and currently have a couple... and have had several of other kinds. Yep I am old and have spent more dollars than I care to total up on sunglasses but MJ's are the best in my mind.

I'm impressed with them. Particularly the glass lenses. I am hard on sunglasses. Oakley's are the worst for scratching. I have usually used Bolle but got these a couple years ago and they look brand new. I wear them daily.

Yes... it starts with glass lenses, not plastic.

Wrapped up a few projects today. First was the Terra Acoustics front soundtage (no pictures, it's just some speaker grills). Second was the tenth rearrangement of my roof rack to optimize the space up there. The Rotopax mount extension lets me mount a couple water jugs on top of each other.

And last, I installed my Trailgater tailgate table. This replaces the American Adventure Labs Versatable, which I could never eliminate the rattle no matter how much I tightened up the latch. The Trailgater doesn't rattle in the slightest - there's just no movement. One handed operation is not as easy, but I'm happy to trade that for a rattle-free table.

Tired of the vibration of my hinge mounted mirrors, and not finding a solution I like, modified rock slider cowl light brackets, YJ relocation brackets, and YJ mirrors.

Also, wanted a flag holder for the 4th and a few other events. Used the bottom of my Quadratec bike rack (take it apart when I use it anyway) and made a flag pole mount.

(Eagles flag is only for testing, This Red Line flag is coming!)

I installed the Select Increments JLJT-Pods + Alpine S-S65C. I wanted the 6.5 speakers to match the factory Alpine Subwoofer and this is a nice clean upgrade without having to cut up the internals of my soundbar…. Looks OEM which is a must have with every mod i make..

Washed her down and got to the source of my JCR half doors rattling. Found the problem was the screws they supply are too long to hold the hinge bracket against said hinge. They have a cm or two of slop on either side.

My solution, after a few trips to the hardware store, was to add nylon washers between the screw and the bracket. While I had it off, I also wrapped the ends that press against the door in tape so they won't prematurely jack up the paint.

Solution worked like a charm, no more rattles!

Installed the trailer brake controller (Mopar) in My ‘21 Rubicon. Went in easily, except for mounting the box. The mounting bolts didn’t match up with the factory holes. Used an oversized washer to “clamp” the one side in.
Installed and hooked to a trailer to test wiring. All good.

But….. found out I have a bad LED brake light. Off to the dealer tomorrow!

Finished my air chuck relocation project tonight.
With thanks to #arbusa for being nice enough to take pity on me when I stripped the threads on the elbow connector (my error as I was tired and trying to rush an “easy” job - for love or money I couldn’t find anyone able to ship one to Canada) and send me a new one as a gesture of goodwill warranty.
The ARB dual compressor is now powered on by Auxiliary 1 and the LED lights only when it’s powered up.

That is just outstanding! Thanks for the great pics. Would love to do something like that down the road. Great job.

I presume this is plug and play....or did it require enabling of a sales code to make it functional?
