What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

installed the missing OEM crossmember to the undercarriage of my Jeep. For some reason FCA does not add this part to manual trans JLUR:

It's there on the 2 door manual (on my 2020 anyway) because I had to remove it to install my skid plate.

My 21 JLUR manual did come with it but my 20 JLUS manual did not.

mine is a 2018 JLUR manual so it's 4 door and it did not have one. it was very easy install and took me less than 5 min.

I'm thinkin that 2018, 2019 & some 2020 did not have them and only 2021 moving forward.

That crossmember is actually the automatic transmission “skid plate “

What, what? and adapter for the Auto JL's? Please share details, I knew they had one for the transfer case, but didnt know there was an option for the Auto. Does it have the park lock button? Thanks in advance!!!

Thanks! Yes, I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on some keyhole covers. I thought about black lug nuts but $160 just for lugs nuts seems silly.

Where were those lug nuts through? CJ pony parts sells a set of black lugs for Oem wheels for $35

Yes it was a 4 door. The odd thing is the window sticker had the "transmission skid plate" on the list of included features.

this is not a picture of my actual undercarriage but it's the same crossmember i installed on my manual JLUR. difficult to get an undershot without it being on a lift and unfortunately i don't have one in my driveway...

They do indeed have an adapter for the autos! The button is deleted, and the shifter lockout is deactivated by pushing the shift knob down instead.
