If they have snap ring pliers they can.
Would t even with snap ring pliers it be difficult as the tension on the rope is pulling on the pin so kind of hard to slide out? I just ordered one either way.

It’s just a twist of the handle on the winch to disengage and pull out some slack.

Thanks, planning on painting the front hooks to match. I installed the front covers as well...really like the black accents with the Willys

I did my front ones today! Pretty easy, and like you I reused the factory bolts. Glad I read that somewhere

Installed the Rugged Ridge Elite Tail Light Guards (purely for looks). Since i have the Mopar Tailgate Reinforcement plate on mine, i had to do a bit of grinding for it to fit.

The pics may explain this better, but I’ll do my best to explain.

I re-rerouted the rear foot well HVAC vent towards the front footwell (where my feet are). Reason is that I have the back seat out, and with the front lower vent not blowing too much so I thought it would be nice to actually put those vents to use instead of just blowing to a useless area.

I basically cut down the floor vent running from the front towards the rear of the vehicle. I used some self-sealing pressure tape to secure some leftover shop vac hose. I ran the hose towards the back and looped it back towards the front And secured it with a zip tie on the seat frame. After trying it out I noticed that the front foot well area felt much warmer, and you can move the seats back and forth. One really can’t see the hose from the outside of the Jeep. Now heat from the rear foot well area isn’t just blowing to nowhere.

Oh man, that looks good! Way better than my Rugged GMR25 "Jeep Kit" that had power cables that were too short and required splicing, an antenna cable that was way too long that had to be wrapped around my passenger footwell, an antenna mount bolt that was too long that requires a washer stack on the outside of my Jeep and no firewall grommet.

Any install surprises on your kit?

I installed these today... visor clips.... they are to reinforce.... to keep the frail visor bracket(s) from breaking.. Time will tell how well they work...
