Thanks - I see now. I swear the first video that was posted was very short and just showed the end result. Just went back and watched again and it’s now an 11 min video. Maybe I’m losing my mind - LOLI wasn't the OP of the mod but he explains in the video where he tied into and spoke about soldering.
Thanks - maybe I’m losing my mind, but I swear the first time I watched the video, it was just a short video that only showed the end result. Did you upload a different video? Either way, thanks for the great video and info.Watch the video. Lol that's the tutorial.
Is your Jeep leaning to the driver side or is it just the photo?Got the 39” tires mounted on beadlocks ( took a good 5 hours) and installed Motobilt rear crusher bumper. Probably doing a spare delete eventually. It lifted the Jeep exactly 1” over the Nitto trail grappler 37s.
Haha. Good eye. The valve stem for front driver leaked overnight and was completely flat this morning when I took the picture. Thought it was the bead and was not looking forward to redoing the dang thing but blew it back up and could hear the leak from stem and 1/8th if turn got it fixed up. Interesting that it did not do that all day when I was driving it but somehow loosened up.Is your Jeep leaning to the driver side or is it just the photo?
Again. I am not the one who posted the video. I just mentioned it was the tutorial. Thanks - maybe I’m losing my mind, but I swear the first time I watched the video, it was just a short video that only showed the end result. Did you upload a different video? Either way, thanks for the great video and info.
@YippieKiYayMrFalconAdded Redline Tuning Quicklift Plus hood struts. Got them 20% off during their Black Friday sale.
one of the decals came with a corner lifted, so I did consider removing the decals. I’m with you, I think it takes away from the look. Had to run back inside for a meeting, but I’ll probably go back out later and look at removing the prop.@YippieKiYayMrFalcon
You are going to truly enjoy the Redline Tuning Quicklift Plus hood struts... it's a terrific offering from Redline Tuning!
Only thing I did was... I remove the Redline Tuning decals from the struts and stuck them on my tool box.
I do not like logos of this and that all over my vehicles...
OH, I also removed the stock prop rod and removed that gaudy yellow plastic prop rod grabber. It pulls right off and is not damaged nor does removing damage the JL.
