What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

I've got a whole bunch of changes coming to my Jeep. Just put the Redline hood struts on late last night, and the LED lighting just arrived in my driveway to swap up front.

Next I need to get half doors prepped to go to paint. Also put the wall hangers up. Busy busy.

WAS going to install the Teraflex Alpha HD tire carrier this weekend, but the package didn’t include the new adapter for the ‘21 rear camera .. The instructions listed it as a part in the package, but wasn’t in there .. Teraflex is shipping me one.

installed my STEDI 28" light bar (finally got my brackets from OZ after less than a week) as well as got my halogen fog lights wired up & mounted on the magnetic mounts. I don't plan on keeping the halogen fogs on all the time, just when I know I'm going to be traveling in the dark in blizzard-like conditions

How effective is that bug deflector on the front lip of the hood? I presume that's its purpose.

I've found that is simply obliterates some of the bugs, thus having their guts splattered over the windshield rather than the entire bug

actually, I can't tell you the difference as I installed it at the dealership when I was picking it up..AND, I DID take a rock that shattered my windshield about 4 mounts after getting it

Stock tires were the same as the ones on my truck, that was in need of tires. So, ordered these and had them installed today. Taking the truck tomorrow for the take-offs. Couldn't find any rims I liked better than the stock ones (wanting a flat black)

. Wasn't crazy with the silver so changes them to matte black.

Looks great What did u use on the wheels to make them black? Considering the same.

Rum runner is going under the knife. Loosely under the “what am I doing to it today”. —installing my lift! My brother and dad are doing all the major work. My contribution was to let them know they got the springs reversed and the tips all you guys have put on here to make it easier installing the lift.

You can spray them with Plastidip, or you can order vinyl stickers for them from Amazon. I’ve done both, currently running grey vinyl stickers.

Put on my $300 hard top.

Picked up one with a smashed rear window for $200. Picked up another that was rough but had good glass for $100. In less than an hour, everything was combined and looking good.

Got the LOD Destroyer steps installed today. I even went all the way with it and drilled into the frame for installing the optional bolts. Damn, these things look good!

Sadly, I've gotta redo one bolt on the passenger side though, apparently I didn't get the damned skid notched enough and ran out of cutting wheels for my dremel. Ah well, once those show up it's a simple fix at least.

Had my Wife test them out after getting them installed to see if they met her approval. She loves them so far! No more carting around a stepstool!
