Installed an Adams front driveshaft last night. Easy job. Jeep is high enough even my fat but could lay on a creeper and fit Uber it to do the install.

Nice work! I'm installing my front Adam's shaft this evening. Did you use a Flange puller on the xfer case end or just bang it off?

I hit my stock steering stabilizer while at Moab and itā€™s been leaking ever since. Figured Iā€™d better swap it out before itā€™s too late. That and the other day, it was cold out and the steering felt almost jerky when turning. So figured it might be a good idea to swap it out.

Went with the Bilstein stabilizer to match my 5100 shocks I just installed.

Just installed a fox 2.0 SS and wow what a difference with those 35's. Finally have a JK steering feel.

Very nice. I looked into the fox but itā€™s a bit more $$. 4wheel had this in stock and ended up picking it up this morning. Will see how Bilstein does I guess.

Was just checking too, mine didnā€™t come with a boot but looks like that is normal. Just wanted to make sure it was missing. I guess it isnā€™t necessary.

Any impact to steering performance? I've got 5100s and have been considering swapping to the Bilstien stabilizer with a relocation kit.

Iā€™ll have to get back to you on that. Just put it on the jeep a few minutes ago and havenā€™t driven it yet.

I installed an ammo can above the driver rear wheel well in the cargo area for some extra storage. Just used two gun mount magnets and they do a great job and makes some use out of this void space.

Lol. They say you can tap it off on the adams web site. Ummm. I donā€™t know where they had their hammer to have enough room to get a decent swing. I bought a small 2 ton puller at Autozone. My closest autozone didnā€™t have a puller as someone broke it the day before. So I now have a $30 tool Iā€™ll probably only ever use again if I replace my rear driveshaft. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Ehhh. Itā€™s $30. And Iā€™ll know I have one if needed. Iā€™ll keep it quiet that I have it though. Otherwise Iā€™ll wind up being the club driveshaft guy. Lol

Put some new shoes on it. Had 40/14.5/17s and put 39/13.5/17s on it.

40s.
The 40 were just a touch big. Would rub when flexed too the limits. The 39s, which are a ā€œsmallā€ 39, fit better.

Put my GPCA Flexible Cargo Cover Pro on. Not bad for the price. Adjustable full/three quarter/half covered. Will need to adjust a little.
