Jeep took over the gym. Nice lol. Mods can give you a good workout anyway :like:
Jeep’s can be gyms. I remember carrying around front axles like they were nothing when I was wrenching every night. 12.5 years in the army doing army pt and now I can pick up a front axle then lay on couch for days. 😂😂

I have at least 5 straws and couple other things in the abyss.
There's a grocery store loyalty card in the seat abyss of my Wrangler. Of course it had a time-limited 40 cent per gallon discount on it when it went missing; that's no small matter in the state with the nation's highest gasoline tax.

I had a new card issued, and started from scratch with the gas discounts.

Replaced the batteries. I started to get the start stop light sporadically this week. Apparently 20 months and 35k is too much for the AUX. It started to bulge some, took the opportunity to upgrade to the bigger main battery while I was in there. I went in through the top as I didn’t have any spare fender clips, it wasn’t too bad about 45 minutes.

Just a quick update since this battery replacement that I noticed today. Greatly reduced 2.0l cold sputter, trans is seeing 8th more, mileage increase and less turbo lag. Could be totally coincidental but nothing else changed. These things are known to cause all sorts of electrical issues when they go out. Maybe they start by lessening spark quality.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
After 5 days of camping in the UP of Michigan. My wife said this tote needs to be on a slide. So while she was at work, I headed to Menards and picked up a 24 in slide that would support 100 pounds and built the tote slide.

Total cost was about $85, and about two hours of time. I could have built it faster, but lacked some cool tools so I had to make due with what I had.

For use with the D Rings..... if you ever say carry gas cans, totes, well..... anything that you need to secure in the center rear of your JL..... consider 4 of these.... they can be found at Walmart in the Automotive section and they are very inexpensive.

These work great in conjunction with the size of the D in regard to the D Rings... Size of hooks and size of rope is great. Ratchet action a plus.... works well. Length of ropes is very good. Easy to deal with...

Finally installed a Femco click drain plug yesterday, after failing miserably last time.

FYI, the plug cap for the click drain is longer, and looks like it wants to get caught on things. I'd recommend the compact version instead, though you'd have to hit the pumpkin before getting to the oilpan anyway. I might change it.

FYI 2. When using the click drain plug, DO NOT push in while holding the green locking sleeve, or it will never engage:

Hold the barbed nozzle bit through the tubing instead:

FYI 3. Somehow, the Femco drainplug drained more oil than the empty plug hole. When I installed it, I clicked on the hose to test. This was after the oil had already stopped dripping for 5-10 minutes. When I clicked on the hose, and extra 1/6 of a cup or so came out. The plug-end and valve extending into the pan must have contacted a little puddle in there and pulled it out with capillary action.
