When it is open does it flap at highway speeds?

Not at all, day after I put it on I drove about a 100 miles at mostly highway speeds, 70 MPH for the bulk of it, zero issues. Holds down tight, and they do give you some velcro straps to cinch it down but I didn't even use them.

Not at all. Been through several times, always touch less!

You must remove the Bestop Sunrider for JL Hardtop before you take off the hardtop.

Unbolting/removing the SR takes about 8 mins.. Reinstalling the SR takes about 8 min.+-.

im on the fence with something similar (android for me) but it charges my phone so fast that my battery is always full so not sure i want wireless

I've got the AAWireless. Works pretty well when you're running errands and jumping in and out frequently.
