Yeah the window attaches the same way. Only thing that’s added is the two arms. They’re not hydraulic, so you have to lift it up a little higher, so the arms pop out and lock in place. The instructions required to little holes to be poked at the top of the window edges tight. The arms attach to the tailgate retainer with mounting brackets that slide in the retainer, no drilling required. The window is easily removable, only requiring two little clips being squeezed.

Here’s some pictures showing the clips and holes on the window.

Thanks for the info; very helpful. My first thought was that doesn't really make a big difference from just tossing the window onto the top. But then I thought of doing that in the rain and maybe snow, and I see the benefit.

That’s also kinda what I thought. Not much of a difference, but I’m a little particular with my Jeep and it was a good excuse to get something for it. :CWL:

Still waiting for my JLURD to be built, went ahead and got a door stand since I got the dual door group.

Door mount is by Topsy, very nice product and packaging.

Engine stand is by big red, not the best quality but It will do. At least it matches.

Had to go cart style as my garage is framed on 12” centers instead of 16” due to wind pressure.

I‘d go with your first thought. I saw this on display at Florida Jeep Jam, it’s a nice concept, but I found it to be flimsy and way overpriced.

Since I don't have a garage I figured installing a locking gas cap and locking hood latches was a good idea.

I couldn't install a key-matched hood lock because it's not compatible with the front camera, so I had to get hood latches, which have a separate key. Now should a fire break out under the hood, my jeep is definitely doomed ☠.
