Took the doors off for the first time at 470 miles... also installed mopar door sills and finally took the screen protector off from the factory to install a real one

Went back to my original plan of buying both ARB Rock Rails and JCR Crusader Rock Rails, evaluate/compare both and keep the one that best suits me...

First thing that impressed me was the packaging of the ARB's. They came in a HD box, banded to a wood pallet and each and every part was individually wrapped in protective foam. The JCR's arrived in much flimsier box, already damaged and with strapping tape holding one end together and no pallet. Quick look inside however and everything seems to be OK with exceptions of some minor surface scratching, kinda of hard to mess up 3/16" steel!

Second and only other thing I have had time to look at is the finish, hands down, no contest-ARB clearly has a superior finish. Plan to remove all parts, lay them out and see how each fits to my JLR in the next day or so and install the one I want this weekend. The pair I didn't install will be posted for sale Monday. Both are very good and really couldn't go wrong with either...

I also picked up a cordless Rivnut gun to set those damm rivet nuts! Was hoping to get a Milwaukee Fuel, however Milwaukee does not make a rivnut gun yet...So found this AC-Delco kit, charging now and will try/pratice with it on thin sheet metal before I try it on my Rubi 2-door...(Rubi 2-door, that just sounds right!)

Hi ..how many miles on your Jeep before you need new ball joints??
Depends on how hard you run it, what size tires, etc. I've seen lots of people say they're toast at 20-30k miles. I've needed these for a long time, but my other suspension and steering upgrades have been picking up the slack. I just hit 60k a couple weeks ago.

Thanks for reply .. my rig is at 5k miles, I got 35 inch tires , mopar lift, drag link and tie rod changed out .. just curious to see when people swap out ball joints . Guess I have 1-2 years left .

What did I do today to my Jeep?
I WASHED IT 😅 I know thats frowned upon but I gotta keep those Old School #RWL clean 😁

This is my 5th Wrangler , 1st one on 37s!!! Finally got a Wrangler that can handle them with no negative side affects.
The Turbo keeps them turning fast.while still getting 20MPGs (not sure how because physics is physics)...SMH 🙃😉😊

yes, that is (factory applied) red loctite.....
Curious ... what bumper is that? Looks very OEM like. Are the end caps removable? Thanks.

If it steers and drives fine, you're probably good. I had a slight steering wheel shimmy that would happen on poorer pavement and bumps and it's been getting worse over the past several months, so that was my sign. My uppers were shot, but not as bad as I thought. My lowers were completely toast.

Which bumper is this? I like the beefy-ness. Are you happy with it? Comes with all the lights and hooks?

Here is what it will look like color matched PPG ... I did the vent rings the steering wheel trim and door handles and even the Vector bar is now color matched... I went with a matte finish. Also resprayed the dash bezel and Guage trim rings

Running 35s. As for ride, it is a little stiffer than stock but was expected. Ran MC on my JK as well.
Off topic a bit but what wheels are these?
