Replaced about 10,000 calories worth of winter emergency food with the little Engel fridge/freezer full of water for warmer weather. Looking forward to seeing how it runs with the solar panel.

I finished installing Clayton's 3.5 Overland+. It took about 9 hours total with my wife helping. (and a little help from the kids) The parts quality was very high and besides a few hang ups the install was straight forward.

This is what cool parents do. Your kids might hate it, but every other kids is like I wish my parents did cool stuff like that for me.

Installed the Dynatrac Endurosport lift. I’m liking It so far. Going to be on the stock tires until January. I don’t think it looks to awkward.

What he said. The headrest isn’t designed for that pulling pressure in an accident. It’s a little difficult in the JL but you need to fold the headrest forward and thread the tether strap as the first step of install. It’s a tight squeeze but I have been able to do it with 4 different brands.

Looks great. May I ask what the offset is for those wheels. That is the exact look that I am looking for.

Thank you! They are 17x8.5 with a -6 offset I believe. I debated so long whether or not to put a 2 to 2.5” lift kit (then there’s the spacers only, with shocks only, or shock and springs kit - debate.... my brain was hurting. LOL). I decided ultimately to keep it stock suspension for now, get used to driving it, and do a lift kit after that. I’m happy with the stock suspension for now, but just wanted the more aggressive look. Picking the right wheel design is also a major dilemma. I truly believe I picked the best wheel for me and my specific Jeep.

Just finished installing a pair of Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport LED Amber fog lights. I had amber fogs on a Subaru I owned a while back. Thought I'd try an amber set out on the JL. I'm probably going to have to go back out when it gets a bit darker to do a final aim. It's hard to do when it's so bright out.
