No issues mounting the spare, but I don't think you could go even another 1/8" in width without running into trouble. This tire size is a very close fit.
You're welcome! :)
Awesome! You're the best, thanks.

cleaned her up real nice like and gave her amber cree light covers and a pair of matching shackles. I also installed grab handles for the back and front seats, nothing special though, just the Velcro as I’m testing out what I like or don’t like.

It’s 4 bolts on each seat. Just a need a ratchet. Very simple. There are no airbags in the seats. If you have heated seats, there is wiring, but I left the seats in during my install, so I never disconnected anything. When reinstalling the seats, you need a torque wrench.
Thank you

installed an external XM antenna and gps since our rack and rtt completely blocks the signal. i'm not a huge XM fan, but it's nice not to have to continually scan for stations.

What system is this? My cargo box sometimes blocks the gps.

Jealous of the Gobi rack. Was super bummed that it doesn't let you fold down the windshield.

Curious how you tapped into the radio with the antenna?

Stopped by the post office to pick up my brake controller and harness for install tomorrow night as we are picking up our trailer this weekend.

Went with the recommendation from @wibornz for this setup.

Started with some slightly larger tires on the stock Willys suspension - 285/75R17 Toyo A/T IIIs:

And then some longer springs arrived so it was time to install them, along with the longer Mopar LCAs from their in-house lifts. Measured an initial gain of 1.5" all around:

And now it's ready to go. I'm a fan of a modest lift and larger tires on a Wrangler, so I'm happy with how this turned out. I frequent some pretty remote, bad-access areas in the back country that would habitually stress me out in the past. Now I can just enjoy myself knowing getting in and out will never be a concern.

I also wish a modest lift for my Willys (seems wrong to say that in public 🤔 ).

A bit overwhelmed by the excessive options / opinions... would you care to share your exact spring and LCA info? I think that is exactly what I am looking for with that exact tire size, but I am mired in indecision because of the info overload. Thanks!

i originally picked up this..
soft mount antenna

i removed the existing antenna fakra connection from the back of the radio and installed the one from the kit into the radio and placed the external antenna on the dash. i didn't use the splitter and gps connection and lost the nav in the radio.

with the antenna mount on the dash the xm worked only when facing south, not really much better than the way it was.

i needed to get the antenna into better range so i picked up this antenna..

used the splitter kit behind the radio, installed the gps on the dash and ran the antenna line up thru the firewall.

works great, it's nice to have the availability of xm back and have the radio gps work correctly again.

I am getting close to 20,000 miles of towing using this set up. I hope it serves you as well as it has served me.
