What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Love the minimalist look of this bumper. Mind sharing what issues you ran into in case I decide to go this route?

My frame had some extra weld bumps on it that was keeping it from being put all the way on. I took it to Ace because I live about 30 minutes from them and they took care of me! Sanded down the bumps, made sure to spray it so it doesn’t rust, and installed it for me. I absolutely love it and will be returning for more of their products in the future. Stand up guys!

Minimal look is great. I like like it too. But no corner tub protection is what bothers me.

I thought that would bother me too, but I’m glad I went with this bumper. No regrets.

That's why diamond plate corner panels were so popular on the YJ-era Wranglers that had bumperettes (their real name) from the factory. Voice of experience.

I spent the last two days messing with the ess sytem and aux battery. Even R&R'd the aux battery just to get the full experience haha. ESS dash light is now off and S/S functions. All is well and no out of pocket costs. Two days of my life gone but it's the "JEEP THING" !

I bought a sport grill yesterday white one and painted it black and did the inserts in red. its cold up here now so its drying slow AF not sure if I will like it or not.
I will post a pic of what I have done so far.

went with satin black not sure if I should stick with it or not.
going to mount tomorrow after I clear coat it.
I wanted to prime it but the can was acting up so I skipped that step when I prob should of went and bought a new can of prime.
was also thinking of doing just 3 in red white and blue and leaving the rest black or maybe red.

Some bumpers hang too low and/or too far out. The Cavfab Ultra High Clearance bumper is as minimalist as I could find, that also covers the corners of the body.

New wheels, thanks to @Don and @Matt @Discount Tire, Fuel Vector in gun metal, 17x9 -12 offset. Also added some self recovery, and knocked the pollen off with a quick wash.
