That’s interesting, I’ve never actually noticed that. Does it make an audible ding when it pops up on the dash too?I notice you said you you have a manual. When I get on it, a warning shoots up on the dash about no shift to 1st gear allowed. Can you shut that off? So annoying. And exhaust sounds good!
I’ve been thinking about doing a speaker upgrade. Everywhere I have gone from custom shops to even Best Buy have all told me “it’s not worth it.” I’m not trying to do anything crazy, just want to improve the quality/clarity. Do you feel like it make a significant improvement?Just installed new front speakers, I will go for a drive to give them a listen later today.
I did those and the custom fit Alpines in the back. I could tell much up front when I did the Alpine speakers but I can really tell the difference doing those front top speakers. It was well under $100 for the speakers and adapters to plug into the stock harness.I’ve been thinking about doing a speaker upgrade. OMG that made me laugh. I've been there done that too many times. Also dont use your only two brain cells when working on the Jeep
Took another look at where the holes line up and it fits in between the handles
Maybe you shouldn't install items after drinking beer.Installed a trailrax pak rax. It's a pretty nice setup and I didn't modify anything.
Not sure it's a real issue for many of you, but if anyone is interested, the pak rax will fit under teraflex hard top handles. Maybe in the future I might drill some holes to mount in between the handles but for now it works.

I'm no audiophile, but after installing the same Infinity speakers in the top of the dashboard, the improvement in sound was immediate and considerable. Money well spent, IMO.I’ve been thinking about doing a speaker upgrade. Assembled the hoist, removed the hardtop and put the softop on today.
Looks great, congrats....
Had a Mopar lift installed 315 7017s on it here’s a copy of my alignment casters etc. can anybody tell me if anything should be different to improve the handling steering etc.
Sorry forgot to Attach the file
Everything looks good except your caster is a little low. Ideally you want it to be 6 degrees or a little more. The only way you can do this is to get some adjustable control arms or some geometry brackets. It looks like you got 3” or more with your lift. If you did, then consider this to make it drive and perform better.
Yes you’re correct right about 3 inches . I crawled under it today and looked at the part numbers on the springs they have the two in the rear reversed. I need to go back and have them switch them. Do you think they need to do a realignment after switching the rear springs?Everything looks good except your caster is a little low. Ideally you want it to be 6 degrees or a little more.
