Did the JK last week, did the JL dash cam pair this week.

1440p front camera with shock detection, accident data preservation, and 24-hour off-battery parking monitoring.

1040p rear camera, wired through the hardtop cavity, and detachable at the hardtop fluid/wiper wiring harness.

Both cameras are mounted just inside the wiper swath path to keep the view clean even in rain.

The 24-hour off-battery (using capacitors) required both accessory and battery circuits. I pulled in separately-fused accessory and battery feeds and broke them out using two six-way fused distribution junctions.

The distribution boxes were mounted below the cabin air filter. The two hot wires were pulled through the firewall using the passenger-side grommet to the right of the glovebox.

Been thinking about doing that with the Dynomat as well. Has it reduced noise at all or any other benefits so far?
I did the dash speaker upgrade as well. Poly fill those suckers. I did the dynomat for heat and sound deading a secondary reason. I think it helps a bit....but again...it’s a Jeep and I’m topless as much as I can be.

I’m new to the Jeep family. I bought a 2021 JLUR in March. Since then I’ve had the Mopar 2 inch lift installed and added 315/70/17 Ridge Grapplers wrapped around 17x9.5 Black Rhino Overlands. I’ve also done the obligatory antenna exchange and added a Bulletpoint phone mount. I’m happy with it, for now.

So what is this ”The 24-hour off-battery (using capacitors)” thingy you are talking about? Sounds interesting. :movember:

Put a few more break in miles on the Jeep. Took the back seat out. Pulled the sub woofer, used Dynomat on the enclosure and rear deck area and polyfilled the enclosure, then installed my bullet proof phone mount. I did put the top down and maybe later I'll install my Jtops sun shade.

Dig your screen name, but where's the extra 20 coming from?

I've been considering additional floorboard insulation for this summer, and pulling my side subwoofer for additional storage, but you pulled your bottom one and filled it with insulation?
